Bailey Leads Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U Past Texas Bombers CTX 12U

Bailey C collected three hits in three at bats, as Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U defeated Texas Bombers CTX 12U 13-3 on Sunday at Anderson High School. Bailey C hit an inside the park home run in the fourth inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the first inning.
Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Sophia R doubled, and Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.
Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U scored five runs on four hits in the top of the second inning. Camila G drew a walk, scoring one run, Sophia R doubled, scoring two runs, and Easton D doubled, scoring two runs.
Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Sophia V singled, Bria F singled, and Sophia R walked, each scoring one run.
Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U added two more runs in the top of the fourth inning on three hits. Bailey C hit a solo inside the park home run, and Evie J drew a walk, scoring one run.
Bailey C earned the win for Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U. The starter allowed zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking two. Skylar T took the loss for Texas Bombers CTX 12U. The right-handed pitcher went one inning, surrendering five runs on three hits, striking out two and walking three. Easton D tossed one inning of shutout ball for Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U in relief. The reliever gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking three.
Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U tallied 15 hits in the game. Bailey C and Bria F each collected three hits for Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U. Sophia R and Easton D each drove in two runs for Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U. Sophia R and Gabriella R each collected multiple hits for Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U. Camila G led Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Bailey C and Bria F each stole multiple bases for Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U. Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U ran wild on the base paths, accumulating eight stolen bases for the game. Unity Fastpitch ATX 12U turned one double play in the game.
Skylar T led the team with one run batted in. Lila M and Penelope P each collected one hit for Texas Bombers CTX 12U. Texas Bombers CTX 12U had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Skylar T and Karissa O led the team with two free passes each. Lila M stole four bases. Texas Bombers CTX 12U ran wild on the base paths, piling up seven stolen bases for the game. Texas Bombers CTX 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Macy P had the most chances in the field with two.
