Dennis spent over 10 years building the park, evolving Houston Skate Scene, revolutionizing Skateboarding even beyond with his superior ramps, huge Events and dedication to making the Best park in the country. PLUS he helped so many of us through those years, supporting us, making room where needed, providing river and snowboarding trips and basically being our Cool Uncle in so many ways beyond skating. Dennis invested thousands, worked tirelessly and always put his money back help the park and scene. When vert died after 93 he was forced to sell the park way below value to make ends meet, bought a modest property, built a very humble place and worked years before health issues crept up. Majority left him behind not staying close in touch yet we ALL often boast about those years, brag how awesome and such a great part of our lives. So its time to give back, because its the least we can do for all the amazing we shared and all Dennis provided us.
Now he needs OUR Help ... C/O Skatepark of Houston started by Don Downey, Chip Wright and Our Collab to Help Dennis Eppinette AKA LOU who is needs some help from our Skate Family. Don owns A/C Man Cooling & Heating looking to get him upgraded from window unit to full AC system. Lou lives way North HTown, built a Metal building, temporary inside structure and has been slowly building out but summers are rough. Dennis has been challenged by health issues, on Disability only, increasing Medical bills and overall costs of real basic living. *Lets Exceed this Goal of $3500 and I am going to suggest lets get 10K if we can collectively get together alittle $ each. Dennis approved and much appreciated!
