Happy Birthday to the most incredible woman in my life, my mom. ❤️

Being your only child, I truly got to witness the strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love that you poured into raising me. As a single parent, you carried the weight of the world on your shoulders, yet you always made sure I had everything I needed; guidance, discipline, faith, and most importantly, love.

You protected me, believed in me, and pushed me to chase my dreams even when the road was difficult. Everything I am today is a reflection of the foundation you built for me.

From Kingston to the where life as taken us so far your prayers, sacrifices, and strength carried me further than I could have ever imagined. I hope today you feel just a fraction of the love and appreciation that I have for you every single day.

Three years ago we celebrated a decade of love with the people closest to us. Now, 13 years in, I’m even more grateful for the journey we’ve built together.

Happy anniversary to my love and my best friend. Your heart of gold, your kindness, your joy!! they inspire me daily. Thank you for loving me the way you do and for being the foundation of our family. I choose you over and over again.

There comes a time when we all have to make a tough decision about what truly matters and what the best way forward is. For me, the single most important thing is my family.

Soccer has given me so much, but it has also taken valuable time away from the people I love most. Time is precious and far shorter than we realize. My greatest desire is to be present and create meaningful memories with my family, especially my wife and kids. They mean everything to me.

With that, I’ve decided to step away from professional coaching. This allows me to focus on my family and continue pouring into future generations through RTG in a way that aligns with my values and purpose.

I want to sincerely thank the Houston Dynamo for the past three years and for giving me the opportunity to coach, develop, and contribute to the environment. I’ll always be grateful for the experiences and relationships. There’s no doubt I’ll miss the competitive side of the game but I’m done trading time for money.

It’s time to write a new chapter.

My heart is heavy today as I watch Hurricane Melissa make its way over my beautiful island, Jamaica. To all my family, friends, and everyone back home, please stay safe and take every precaution.

Jamaica, you’ve been through so many storms before, and every time, you’ve shown strength, faith, and unity. I know this one will be no different. Even from afar, my prayers are constant & I’m asking God to place His hand of protection over every home, every community, and every life.

We are a small island, but our hearts are mighty.
