May complete. Still I Run RunStreak complete ✅ on Sunday Runday!

We’ve had a lot of rain this month, but seriously, who turned up the heat?! 🥵 With a high of 96°F today, I’m glad I ran earlier in the day and ran a trail with plenty of shade!

Let the heat acclimation for Texas summer running commence…

Some midday miles to start the weekend and keep the Still I Run RunStreak for mental health awareness going 🏃🏻‍♀️

Temps are rising and today’s run was in the upper-80’s and humid 🥵 Thank goodness for the SaltStick FastChews that were in my welcome box! Pink lemonade was on the menu today. 🩷🍋

A very humbling humidity + hills combination for Sunday Runday🏃🏻‍♀️

It’s been a nonstop 8 days - from the Shokz yacht meetup in Miami last weekend to my birthday mid-week, working long hours because of a short work week, and then to the Nashville, TN area for a graduation this weekend!

Had to keep the Still I Run RunStreak for mental health awareness going, so I was able to squeeze in a run between the rain showers.

This was not an easy run, but I got it done. Forward is a pace!

Saturday was the ShokzStar meetup on the Biscayne Lady yacht in Miami, and I had an amazing time! Nothing but smiles, food, friendships, dancing, and fun! Thank you to Shokz for hosting this event and making it an unforgettable day! 🧡

Work’s been kicking my butt lately! Thank goodness for the Still I Run - Runners for Mental Health Awareness RunStreak this month. Not only can we do the RunStreak our way (I opted for at least 31 miles this month rather than a mile every day), but I’m also glad to be doing this RunStreak with my friends and fellow mental health advocates this month! I’m staying accountable to my goal and making sure to take time for ME (and Beta).

I won a bib to this morning’s Run for the Rita 5K! It’s been a while since I’ve run a 5K race, and today’s heat and humidity added to the challenge! 😂 6th place in AG (out of 56) isn’t too shabby!

Got to catch up with some fellow Shokz ambassadors and met some new people, too.

Dogs weren’t allowed to run (although someone ran with one today). Even though Beta couldn’t run, she wanted everyone to know she got first place in the dog category. 🐕 ❤️
