Today the full moon moved into Aquarius and illuminated the contrasting energies of a Leo Sun and Aquarius moon. Leo invites us to turn inward and reflect on the brilliance of our individuality while standing boldly in the spotlight. Whereas, Aquarius calls us to focus outward and lean into how we can make a meaningful impact on our community. It is through the combination of these two energies that a beautiful life of service blooms, where our unique gifts and talents can uplift our environment.

For me, serving my community meant first identifying and cherishing my own talents, passions, and gifts. Additionally, to accept these qualities, releasing any limiting beliefs or narratives that hinder their expression is just as important so that “Shannon” can fully emerge, ready to offer her authentic expression to the world. Lastly, I have learned that in order to give back to my community in a powerful way, I must first fill my own cup. For me this means:

1. Participating in and amplifying the experiences that bring me JOY
2. Confidently speaking my sacred no when a request is not in alignment
3. Holding true to my boundaries
4. Honoring my self-care plan
5. Acknowledging of my needs and desires and voicing them unapologetically

By actively listening and attuning to my inner-net, I have been able to serve from a place of abundance because my cup is overflowing. Consequently, I notice my ability to remain satiated after pouring my JOY into everyone. Therefore, this full moon is an invitation to become clear on what nourishes your soul and ignites your JOY while also compassionately examining what may be holding you back from your true potential. It invites us to explore how the JOY you cultivate through introspection and embracing all aspects of your being-ness unlocks the boundless radiance that is YOU, ready to be shared with your community and the world at large. May this full moon inspire you to go within and bring your authentic abundance to the dance of life where it can serve others and create a ripple effect of positive transformation.

Since starting my travels in May, I have had little time to be in any one place for longer than a 2 week period. I decided to fully jump into the life of a traveling coach (and nonprofit entrepreneur) which included holding space at different retreats, running bi-weekly non-profit team meetings, and networking with property owners to co-create and/or select dates to run retreats. My travels have taught me so much and I am honoring the nudge within to SLOW DOWN, pause, and INTEGRATE my lessons & learnings. Therefore, I am using this next month to really ground in and set up the foundation necessary to build “my home” before hitting the road once more.

When I think of building a home, I first want to create a sturdy foundation. This foundation includes all the areas of my life being organized and ready to take on weight. For me, in order to hold the additional weight, I must become very clear on what my self-care plan looks like. Furthermore, I want to BE the medicine not just talk about the medicine. Moreover, defining how I can show up for myself is how I infuse my physical, mental, energetic, and bliss bodies with the nourishment they need to thrive. These simple yet important pieces allow me to show up as my most authentic expression and tackle all that comes my way from a state of calm and gratitude. Once the foundation is set, I can start building and I have found that this step is not to be rushed.

So if you are starting something new, my invitation is to pause and reflect on your foundation. Are you ready to take on the extra weight and is your floor sturdy? What does your self-care plan look like? How do you create a strong foundation?

The answers are within you, reflect, and honor each of your bodies as to prevent a remodel down the road. It is not about getting to the finish line, it’s about taking your time, being curious about the journey, learning as you go, and appreciating each step of the way!

Yesterday marked the New Moon in Cancer. The new moon is a time for reflection, planting seeds, and setting intentions. This new moon in particular is focused on self-care and therefore, self-love. In addition, Venus is in a standstill for the next 5 days before going retrograde which invites us to become clear on how we give and receive love.

This is an invitation in the next 48 hours to use these questions as a guide to explore your inner depths and get curious about how you show up for YOURSELF. How can YOU support your own desires from within rather than seeking for those desires to be filled by your external world. I have found the more I focus on self and filling my own cup, the more I have to give to the world. 💓🫶

Hello everyone and thank you for tuning into my 365 days of transformation. I am ready to be raw, vulnerable, and courageous as I share my story. This story will include parts of my past, my hardships, and my celebrations - woven together to create the fabric that held me as I explored my inner world. This knowing has given me the strength to BE my most authentic expression.

When I reflect on this last year, I feel honored, humbled, wonder, awe, and gratitude. Through learning to trust and surrender, I experienced synchronicities and a sense of magic that allowed me to re-write old narratives and release what no longer served me. I came out feeling confident, worthy, determined, and excited for all of the infinite possibilities that are yet to be known. I learned that the only box preventing me from my expansion was the one I placed on myself.

So here I am, sharing how I stepped out of the box and into the unknown with all of you. I honor that we are all unique souls on our own adventure and mine is just one. May you take what resonates and leave the rest. You are the only person who knows what works best for you and I celebrate everyone’s methods. My desire is to inspire, empower, and be a space of support for my fellow exploring light beings. May we honor our own journeys and the work we have done along the way.

Lastly, I have decided to write my entries as a conversation with my inner child, Shay. Therefore, I am naming my blog: Shannon meets Shay! Thank you for receiving me, it is truly an honor to be here with all of you.
