🚨Knights Varsity Track & Field Team is State-Bound!🚨

HillCo Track & Field had an incredible day at the 2026 TAPPS Regional Track & Field Championships. Eight athletes qualified for regionals, and all eight earned a spot at state—a first in school history!

Headed to state are seniors Haley M. and Adam M.; juniors Kinsey H. and Canon C.; sophomores Christian M. and Judah P.; and freshmen Emmy E. and Kaylee H.

Several athletes also set new school records:
• Emmy placed 3rd in triple jump and 4th in long jump.
• Kaylee set a new school record in the 800m with a time of 2:28.74 and qualified for state in the 300m hurdles.
• Christian set a new school record in the 400m with a time of 50.98.
• Judah qualified in triple jump and the 300m hurdles, setting a new school record in the hurdles with a time of 40.81.

Both 4x400m relay teams also qualified for state, with the girls finishing 4th and the boys finishing 3rd. We’re proud of these athletes and excited to cheer them on at state!

Congratulations to our Hill Country Knights boys varsity soccer for finishing the year as TAPPS Division III state runner-up after a 2-2 battle in the championship match that was decided in penalty kicks. The Knights finish at 13-5-0 on the season, and their playoff run featured a thrilling 4-3 victory that sent them to the state tournament, plus a 2-0 semifinal shutout over The Covenant School. So proud of this team’s grit, unity, and fight all season long!

Congratulations to our Knights varsity soccer team on their state semifinal win, defeating The Covenant School, 2-0! They'll play in the state championship tomorrow, March 6, at 2:30 p.m., at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.

We'll use a modified schedule for Middle and High School so students, faculty, and staff may attend the championship and support the team. Check your email for details!
