The 15th Annual BACa Memorial Softball tournament was one for the books. The heat was brutal. We can't thank each and every one of you enough for being there through that. The players, the coaches, the umpires, the fans, and Lazer Sports are the real heroes for being out in 100+ degrees all weekend.
Because of all of you, we raised a record setting amount of $65,000 this year!! It's truly amazing what our Colorado slow pitch softball community is able to accomplish in the name of helping those we love that are battling Cancer. You are the reason we were able to help 15 people this year; you are the reason we've been able to help so many people over the last 15 years, and you are the reason, in the last 15 years, we have raised over half a million dollars ($551,200) to help people battling this terrible disease. Because of you, no one in our community fights alone.
Jimmy Carmona and Lazer Sports, and Jimmy Jones and Colorado Baller Brand, thank you so much for your contributions. We are so grateful!!
My fellow board members, Holly, Terrisa, Ty, Lo and Krystal, and board members past, look what we've done! This is something to be so proud of.
We have had so many volunteers over the years, but we have to give a special thanks to Paul Nugent. He has volunteered every year, managing complexes, umping when we needed someone, arriving first thing in the morning, and leaving at the end of the night to make sure all the ladies get to their cars safely. We love you!

Thanks to all the teams that come out and play each and every year. Thank you for supporting this cause. Thank you for growing with us and for your patience and dedication to helping us make this the best event it can be. This started 15 years ago with two ladies determined to raise some money for their friend, running men's/women's/coed in one day at Schaeffer Park, to a 3 day event with over 100 teams at the biggest complex in Denver, countless volunteers and immeasurable love and support.
We'll see you in 2027!!
