Today we had the privilege of honoring the accomplishments and deeds of a number of members of our land.

Lady Alanna of the Groves was awarded the 1st and 2nd Order of the Owl, the 4th Order of the Rose, and the 5th and 6th Order of the Garber.
Bellodonna was awarded the 2nd Order of the Rose and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Order of the Garber.
Booplesnoot was awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Order of the Owl.
Corin was awarded the 1st Order of the Owl.
Craven was awarded the 2nd Order of the Rose.
Lady Ephiny was awarded the 6th and 7th Order of the Garber.
Greene was awarded the 2nd Order of the Rose.
Hope was awarded the 1st Order of the Griffin, the 1st Order of the Owl, and the 1st and 2nd Order of the Rose.
Iron Blue Dog was awarded the 1st Order of the Warrior.
Itakie was awarded the 3rd Order of the Dragon.
Jolien was awarded the 2nd Order of the Rose.
Kayda was awarded the 1st Order of the Garber.
Klar was awarded the 1st Order of the Rose.
Magpie was awarded the 4th Order of the Owl.
Penn was awarded the 1st Order of the Warrior, the 1st and 2nd Order of the Owl, the 2nd Order of the Dragon, and the 3rd Order of the Rose.
Pockets Mondalas was awarded the 1st Order of the Griffin.
Puddles was awarded the 1st Order of the Dragon.
Rion Morningstar was awarded the 1st Order of the Warrior.
Lady Rowana Wyvernweald was awarded the 4th Order of the Smith, the 5th Order of the Garber, and the 1st Order of the Crown.
Teuctli-Baron Tezcatlipoca was awarded the 1st Order of the Griffin and the 4th Order of the Lion.
Dread Baron Torg was awarded the 3rd and 4th Order of the Griffin, the 5th Order of the Dragon, and the 1st Order of the Crown.
Vadise was awarded the 1st Order of the Rose and the 1st and 2nd Order of the Owl.
Weaselton was awarded the 1st Order of the Rose.
Xena was awarded the 1st Order of the Owl and the 2nd Order of the Rose.

This Saturday we will be playing host to a visit from the entire kingdom. If you've never visited Silver Moon before, this Saturday would be a great chance to see the game at its biggest and best. We'll be hosting the Crown Qualifications arts tournament and the Warmaster tournament to prove the best artisan and warrior in the kingdom!

And it's still free to play, at Cascades Gateway Park, like every weekend.

WHAT IS AMTGARD?
Amtgard is a world-wide organization dedicated to medieval and fantasy combat gaming. We use padded weapons, fantasy and authentic clothing, and imagination to immerse players in a world of heroic combat, quests, crafts, and more.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Amtgard is free!
Players are expected to provide their own costumes and equipment eventually but every group has loaner equipment for new players to borrow while they're still trying the game out. As long as you are 18 or over (or 14+ with signed parental permission) all you have to do is show up to one of your local groups' weekly meetings and tell them you're interested.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
You can start by joining our Facebook group and post to introduce yourself. Or if you just show up at our regular meeting time we'll be happy to help you get started but contacting us in advance will allow us to help prepare you for the game.

A&S Nights are held the first Friday evening of every month. There are classes, opportunities to work on personal projects and people are welcome to come to just hang out with other players.

What a great midreign day!

We had 27 fighters in the Ducal Weaponmaster, an incredible level of participation for a holding-level tournament - I've seen kingdom tournaments with fewer fighters than that. Also I saw outstanding honor and good will everywhere, I really appreciate so many competitive fighters engaging each other with such positive attitudes.

Squire Critias is the overall winner, with Hyde in second place and Lord Odin in third.

The overall bracket placements were as follows:

Single Short

Double Short

2nd - Ryle Selvan
3rd - Baron Torg

Short and Shield

(Ryle and Odin's tie on bracket points for 3rd was resolved with a 2-out-of-3 open weapon match.)

Also - with 6 votes in her favor and no votes cast in any other way, Chameleon is our new Chancellor!
