Practice practice practice! We’re getting closer to our first performance! Don’t forget to catch our team on July 19th at the Hampshire County Fair Horse Show at the Hampshire County Fairgrounds just follow the signs! Show starts at 9am. All of our team members are actually participating in the show as well. Our Drill Team is putting on the half time intermission show which will probably be around 12.

Reminder we’re also performing at the WV State Fair in Lewisburg, WV on August 7th!

We FINALLY had decent weather to get official team pictures with all our uniforms and equipment. Thank you so much for everyone that had helped support our team with the fundraisers! Now I’d like to do a meet the team and their beloved horses post! Individual photos will be labeled with the names.

This was our 2nd performance of 2024. We had 2 riders out so a bit of a smaller group but the kids filled in the gaps and performed like no one was missing at all. This was at the Hampshire Hoofbeats 4-H Club fall fundraiser show. 🍀

Hello Everyone! This page was created to help promote our team. Hampshire County Equestrian Drill Team was started back up in 2023 after many years of not having a team anymore. Our team is made up of 4-H youth. We start practicing in April every week till the end of the year. Drill team is not only a great test of horsemanship but also helps promote hard work and dedication as well as team building. The first year we only had 2 local performances. We hope for the years coming to be able to perform at other places in the surrounding areas. This was our very first performance. Even with a slight hiccup our team carried on like nothing ever happened. We are beyond proud of these kids!
