**WARNING LONG POST**
Finally got a good night's sleep and woke up feeling incredibly grateful.
Our 12th Annual Recital, *Canvas to the Stage*, was absolutely beautiful. To witness the growth of our dancers from where they started to where they are now filled my heart with pride. They were courageous, creative, expressive, and simply magnificent.
A special thank you to my instructors. Thank you for continuing to pour into these young people, even on the days when they're moody, distracted, tired, or not giving quite the effort we'd like to see. Thank you for encouraging them anyway. Thank you for seeing their potential and helping them grow into it.
To My Aisha thank you for EVERYTHING, for holding it down always, for standing in the gap, for being so organized and for giving so much to the studio while having to give so much to your SENiOR!
Candis, thank you for every plié, every correction, every expectation of excellence, and for somehow making it through an entire recital season without putting anyone in a giant inflatable dinosaur costume. Growth all around. 😂
Kam, thank you for exposing our dancers to a unique style of hip hop and challenging them to move beyond what feels comfortable. Growth rarely happens in the comfort zone, and you continue to prove that.
Tiona, thank you for your kindness, your patience, and your ability to meet dancers exactly where they are while still helping them move forward, super proud of you.
Daphne, thank you for pouring into all of our dancers, but especially for helping Aria bring *Puzzled* to life this weekend. Watching that piece unfold was incredibly special. Not a dry eye in the house. Thank you for always coming through.
Kaitlin, thank you for coming home from school and jumping right back into the studio. Whether it was teaching a few 8-counts, helping with lessons, or simply being available when we needed you, your willingness to give back to the next generation of dancers means more than you know.
Thank you to our student teachers, Kennedy Harris, Kennedy Hines, Mackenzie Ramsey, and every student leader who stepped up this season. Leadership matters, and you have helped shape the culture of this studio.
Thank you to our PTO, our volunteers, our alumni, our backstage helpers, and every person who gave their time, energy, and support to make this production possible.
To MJ, Phoenix, and Kendall, and to your amazing mamas, thank you for the beautiful gift and for always showing up with so much love.
And to every SINGLE parent...thank you.
Thank you for the rides, the tuition payments, the costumes, the hair appointments, the rehearsals, the late nights, the early mornings, the patience, the trust, and the belief in what we do.
It truly takes a village.
Last night was more than a recital. It was a celebration of artistry, community, growth, and love.
The show was beautiful.
My heart is full.
Let's Get it Season 13!
