As we wrap our 12th Season Awards day, I just want to say thank you to our ACS family. It truly takes a village to do what we do, and we are blessed with an amazing one. Thank you to all of our ACS parents for trusting us with your children, for every ride to class, every costume payment, every fundraiser, every late pickup, every word of encouragement, and every prayer. We couldn't do this without you. Thank you to our PTO parents for decorating and helping make today special. Thank you to Tunley's BBQ for the delicious smoked meat, to Granny Rebecca Hunt Reed for donating the meat, and to Marilyn's Fried Chicken (Thomas & Charlotte Hill) for preparing the green beans and rice at the LAST minute. That's what community looks like. To our alumni Kaitlin & Mari for stepping in today and lending a hand! To our wonderful and amazing staff & instructors, Miss Aisha, Candis, Kam, Tiona, Kennedi, Kennedy & Mackenzie and Kaitlin for stepping in THANK YOU. To our students, thank you for showing up, working hard, pushing through corrections, and growing into the beautiful young artists you are becoming. We cannot wait for June 13th when you take the stage for recital and share your gifts with the community. There is nothing quite like watching our babies shine. To our scholarship recipients, congratulations. We are proud of you and can't wait to see you shine next season! To our Elite Team, thank you for believing in the vision. We are excited about what Season 13 has in store for you. The future is bright, and we're just getting started. To our four newest ACS Alumni (Kennedy, Tynsley, Mackenzie & Mariah, where did the time go? We have watched you grow from little dancers into young adults ready to step into the next chapter of your lives. We know greatness is ahead of you, and no matter where life takes you, ACS will always be home. And to our ACS staff, coaches, teachers, volunteers, current alumni and everyone who pours into these children week after week, thank you. Your love, patience, sacrifice, and commitment make all the difference. For 12 seasons we've been building dancers, but more importantly, we've been building confidence, character, friendships, memories, and family. NEXT SEASON....watch out.
