Plainsmen Elite 13U

Tough day at the ballpark for the Plainsmen Elite, dropping two games against some strong competition. While the scores didn’t go our way, there were plenty of positives to build on.

In Game 1, the boys came out swinging and grabbed an early lead behind RBIs from King B and JT P. Jacob K stayed hot at the plate with two hits, while King drove in two runs.

In Game 2, the team continued to battle from the first pitch to the last. Davis S and Bryant J each picked up an RBI, and six different Plainsmen recorded hits. Defensively, the team played clean baseball ⚾️.

Days like today are part of the journey. We faced adversity, competed hard, and gained valuable experience against quality opponents. The effort and attitude never wavered, and that’s something to be proud of.

Tomorrow is a new day, a new opportunity, and another chance to show what Plainsmen Elite baseball is all about. Keep your heads up, stay together, and get ready to compete. ⚾🦅💙🧡

What a weekend for the Plainsmen Elite 13U!

The boys battled their way to a 4-1 record and a Championship Game appearance in the Perfect Game SEC Bash in Auburn. While the final game didn’t go our way, this team has a lot to be proud of.

The hardware may say 2nd Place, but this weekend was another big step forward for a team with a bright future.

🔥 CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND! 🔥

The Plainsmen Elite 13U punched their ticket to the FINALS with a gritty 9-6 comeback win over the Alabama Firehawks!

Things didn’t start the way we drew it up, as the Firehawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. But this team never quits. 💪

The bats came alive immediately as the Plainsmen answered with FIVE runs of their own in the bottom of the first, highlighted by a clutch 3-run double from JT P that completely changed the momentum of the game.

JT stayed hot all afternoon, driving in FOUR runs and collecting two doubles. Josiah M and Bryant J each added two hits, while Anderson W delivered at the plate and on the mound to help secure the victory.

After the Firehawks tied things up in the third, the Plainsmen responded once again with three more runs to take the lead for good. That’s championship-caliber baseball right there! ⚾️

🔥 SEMIFINALS BOUND! 🔥

The Plainsmen Elite 13U came out swinging Sunday morning and never looked back, rolling past the Columbus Lookouts 13U by a score of 13-1 to advance to the semifinals of the Banana Rings PG 13U SEC Bash! 💪⚾

The Plainsmen exploded for EIGHT runs in the first inning, setting the tone early. Big hits came from Kurth, JT , Anderson, Welch, and Mason, while patient at-bats and aggressive baserunning kept the pressure on all game long.

The offense stayed hot, piling up 12 hits on the day. Mason led the charge from the leadoff spot with 3 hits, while Causey and JT each drove in 3 runs. Causey also launched a two-run bomb to left field that brought the Plainsmen crowd to its feet! 🚀

On the mound, Monroe Janney was outstanding, tossing 4 strong innings while allowing just 1 run and striking out 5. The defense backed him up with a flawless performance, committing ZERO errors and playing clean baseball from start to finish.

Shoutout to King Berryman, who swiped 3 bags as the Plainsmen continued to wreak havoc on the bases, finishing with 6 stolen bases overall.

One down, two to go.

🏆 Plainsmen Elite 13U Roll to 2–0, Lock Up the #2 Seed 🏆

Another game, another statement win.

The Plainsmen Elite 13U took care of business Saturday, taking down USA Prime BHM 13U Red 8–4 to finish pool play strong and secure the #2 seed heading into bracket play.

The offense came out hot early and never really cooled off. The boys jumped on the board in the 1st with a little chaos and a lot of clutch—wild pitch run, plus RBI knocks from Jacob K, RC W, and JT P all strung together to set the tone. Jacob K added to the damage later with a sacrifice fly in the 3rd to keep the pressure on.

On the mound, Josiah M was dealing. Four strong innings with zero hits allowed in his outing stretch, 5 punchouts, and just one run allowed to earn the win and shut the door on any comeback thoughts.

At the plate, it was a true team effort—King B, JT, Josiah, Bryant J, Jacob K, and RC all picked up hits. Jacob K led the way with 3 RBIs, while the lineup showed patience all game long drawing 7 walks and turning pressure into runs.

And once they got on base… they didn’t stay there long. The Plainsmen swiped 6 bags, with King B picking up 2 of them himself, keeping defenses on their heels all game.

💥 STATEMENT MADE IN GAME 1! 💥

The Plainsmen Elite 13U came out swinging at the SEC Bash in Auburn, rolling to an 18-2 victory over the Columbus Lookouts!

After falling behind early, the boys answered with an explosive 8-run first inning and followed it up with a massive 10-run second inning to put the game out of reach. 🚀

🔥 Offensive Highlights:
⚾ Jacob K. went 2-for-2 and swiped two bags.
⚾ Collin C. delivered a huge 3-RBI double.
⚾ JT P. sparked the first-inning rally with a 2-RBI single.
⚾ The team showed tremendous plate discipline, drawing 11 walks and stealing 6 bases.

💪 On the mound, RC W. picked up the win, tossing 3 strong innings while allowing just one hit.

Total team effort. Great energy. Great start to the tournament.
