Playoff run complete. 💚💛🥎

Today, the Placer Hillmen Varsity Softball traveled to Oakdale for a tough playoff matchup against Oakdale Varsity Mustang. Unfortunately, the Hillmen season came to an end with an 11-1 loss in the single-elimination round.

Paige Denniston provided the offensive highlight for Placer with a solo home run in the sixth inning, while Emma Herr, Myah Denny, Bella Moore, Carly Rice, and McKensie Rath each added hits for the Hillmen. Ever Wiley-Pearson battled in the circle, and the team never stopped competing until the final out.

While today wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, this season was about so much more than one game. This group showed heart, toughness, growth, and incredible team chemistry all year long. From league battles to playoff softball, these girls represented Placer with pride every single time they stepped onto the field.

We want to send a HUGE thank you to our coaching staff for all of their time, dedication, and commitment to these athletes throughout the season. Thank you to our incredible Placer Hillmen Softball Boosters, families, sponsors, and the entire community for showing up, supporting the girls, and helping make this season so special. The support never went unnoticed.

To all of our players heading into summer ball and other sports — we are proud of every one of you and cannot wait to see what’s next. Keep working, keep competing, and keep representing the green and gold. 💚💛

🚨 Looking for Help for Placer High School JV Girls Softball 🚨

We’re currently looking for a CONNEX/storage container donation or any leads on one for the JV girls softball team to safely store equipment, the lawn mower, field tools, and all the gear that comes with running a team.

Right now, the current storage situation isn’t secure, and having a storage container at the field would make a huge difference for these girls and help protect the equipment the program relies on.

If anyone has a lead, connection, donation opportunity, or knows a local business that may be willing to help, please reach out. We’d truly appreciate the support for these hardworking athletes! 🥎💚💛
