We are less than one week away from the Southeast Nebraska Polar Plunge! We are changing things up a bit this year. Instead of dumpster diving in Auburn we will be taking the plunge in Wildwood Pond in Nebraska City. We would love to see some new (and old) faces this year. Well ladies and gents, one more successful polar plunge is in the books. We had an excellent turnout and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! I would like to throw a huge shout out to our 26 plungers and their donors who helped us raise $7100 for the Special Olympics of Nebraska. Join us for the fun next year and start getting your polar plunge 2017 team together.

Who is ready take the plunge? The dumpster is filed and ready for some plungers to be bold and get cold. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! Registration is open now at Auburn's City Hall if you want to take the plunge. The event starts at 2:00 pm in Legion Park. Come down and join in the fun! Afterwards Jon us at the Auburn Eagles Club for food, drinks, and a good time!

Good evening to all! It is Polar Plunge season again! The Southeast Nebraska Polar Plunge is kicking off its fundraising and recruiting for this year's plunge. Feel free to share this with all of your friends. We had great year last year, but would love to find more brave individuals to "dumpster dive" with us and help raise funds for the Special Olympics, Nebraska. Anyone interested in plunging alone or starting their own team can message this page and we will get you the information you need to join this great cause. Our plunge will be similar to our last few years. On March 5th, 2016 we will be meeting at Auburn's City Hall for Registration around 12:30 pm with the plunge to take place in Legion Park at 2:00 pm. There will also be a reception following the plunge at Auburn Eagles Club 3767 with treats and food from various Auburn businesses. Good morning everyone! The day for the Southeast Nebraska Polar Plunge is upon us, and what a beautiful day it is. Come on down to Legion Memorial Park in Auburn today at 2:00 this afternoon and watch the fun (you can even show up a little earlier and sign up to plunge yourself). Anyone that feels like the "polar" plungers are being spoiled by this beautiful weather can feel free to purchase bags of ice at the plunge and dump them into the dumpster to make the plunge more polar (courtesy of Auburn's own Bowldog Alley, proceeds go to Special Olympics Nebraska). After the plunge swing by the Auburn Eagles Club and enjoy some delicious treats courtesy of Sunmart, Pizza Hut, Subway, and the Eagles Club. See you there! The Special Olympics Nebraska thanks you.

How about a huge shout out to our fellow plungers who participated in the Lincoln and Panhandle Polar Plunges today! Lincoln raised $30,000 and the Panhandle plungers raised $35,000 for the Special Olympics Nebraska! Awesome work to everyone who participated in these events and everyone who helped make them possible. One more week until the Southeast Nebraska Polar Plunge takes place in Auburn, Nebraska.
