The primary purpose of foster care is to provide a safe and stable environment for a child who cannot be with his or her parents for some reason. An environment that feels like home instead of a group home or other residential center is usually best for a child.

Based on our focus, we started by providing mentoring programs to children in schools, Juvenile Courts, and Juvenile jails to help them overcome the trauma associated with their past experiences.

As we realized the need to expand our services to serve more children while leveraging the strength of the family and community, we evolved into a state-wide DFCS (Department of Family and Children’s Service) approved agency that provides a full array of support services serving multiple counties across Georgia for children and youths between 18-21years.

An environment that feels like home instead of a group home or other residential center is usually best for a child.Children who have been uprooted from their homes need a place where they can feel safe. Many times, they have suffered abuse and/or neglect from their parents, so they have no idea what a loving home feels like.
