It has been our honor to coach Dawson County’s inaugural Flag Football team. This season has been about so much more than just the game—it has been about passion, gratitude, and the power of uplifting one another.

From the very beginning, these remarkable young women have shown what it means to be pioneers. They have stepped onto the field with courage and determination, not only to compete, but to create a path for other girls to follow. Their willingness to try something new has inspired us all and has opened doors for future generations.

We are deeply grateful for the support from our community and families. But most importantly, we are grateful for the players themselves—for their resilience, their teamwork, and courage for taking on the excitement of a new sport. They have shown us that when girls support girls, there is no limit to what can be achieved.

This team has given us hope for the future—not just for the sport, but for the world these young women will help shape. Their drive, passion, and willingness to push boundaries are exactly what our world needs. We have every confidence that these athletes will go on to make a significant difference, not only on the field, but in every endeavor they pursue.

To our players: You are trailblazers. You are role models. And you are proof that with courage and community, anything is possible. Thank you for inspiring us all and for showing the next generation of girls that they, too, can dream big and achieve greatness.

Let’s continue to support and uplift one another, and let’s look forward to a future filled with even more breakthroughs, both on and off the field.
