The runningnerds racing team is an inclusive racing team based in the Atlanta running community, dedicated to raising funds for runningnerds serves and increasing awareness around the organization’s mission: To promote health & fitness through education, running, and volunteerism in underserved communities. Goals:
• Build an inclusive running community
• Form a team support network for race participation of all distances and styles (obstacle & trail races included)
• Inspire new runners to participate in races
• Support both competitive and recreational runners in their goals and endeavors
• Encourage run group formation and participation
• Foster an enjoyable team based race day experience
• Serve the running community through our volunteerism
• Provide continuing education for runner training & technique
• Encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for members and the Atlanta community. Structure:
