I’ve never met a stranger. My family would look at me like, “Who’s that?”
or “Why are you talking to them?”
I’m on a flight right now and made a friend at the gate and a friend out of a “random seating” in the seat next to me. I won’t ever allow myself to be cold, aloof or distant. I am always emotionally available.
How about you? Are you friendly, loving, giving and kind? What if you decided to be the friendliest person you know? You know the type….the kind of person who never met a stranger!
Please stay open, giving, loving and kind. Practice your skills everywhere you go. Stay friendly!

YOUR INTERNAL DIALOGUE: Those ruminating thoughts that plague you…that self-critical tape that plays in your head….your harsh internal critic (the negativity of a critical parent still lingering into your adult thoughts) that over analyzes every move you make….this is all HEAD TRASH or as they say in AA, it’s STINKING THINKING. Become aware of the content of your inner dialogue.

It’s time for a change! Let that tape self destruct by listening to positive affirmations, success affirmations, self esteem affirmations. Based on your belief system, these can be Biblical Affirmations or New Age Affirmations. Simply put the type of affirmation you desire into the search bar on YouTube and listen while you drive, walk, run, work out, do chores, etc.. It’s like washing your brain from the harsh inner critic, your negative self dialogue. Do this for 21 or 30 days as a regular part of your morning and/or your evening routine. PERSPECTIVE: From growing up in a farming community in my home town of Red Bud, IL, to Chhomrong, Nepal….before we reached the snow capped Himalaya we trekked through rural farm villages where terraced rice fields spoke both of hard labor and manicured beauty.
My heart is warmed by the beauty and simplicity of farm life here. Some might say, “primitive” or “backward”.
I say ”pure”, “simple” and “timeless”.

We did the Everest side in 2017 to Tengboche; but so far I like the Annapurna side better as it’s way more verdant with waterfalls, trees, birds and flowers……not to mention the wonderful, warm people of Nepal🇳🇵

🌁I am in the San Francisco Bay Area connecting with old friends and presenting “The Restoration of the Heart” workshop and my “Optimal Mental Health” workshop. I am grateful for the rich experience this has been on many levels🙏❤️.

I am experiencing a DEEP GRATITUDE from the RECIPROCITY that flows back and forth from me as the speaker to the audience. I bring some unique, life altering teachings that meet unmet needs to an audience that is generous in their praise and gratitude for my visit. At the same time I am grateful to my father who covered my graduate school expenses at Boston University and to my wife, Teryl, for supporting me through some really lean years while we were raising two very young children.

The San Francisco Bay Fellowship is learning pragmatic methods for healing their hearts from the wounds that life often brings💔❤️‍🩹❤️.
