“The God you see is the God you get.” — Dharius Daniels

God desires to bless, heal, elevate, and expand us in supernatural ways. But many times, our perception of Him is limited by our lack of faith, vision, belief, or time spent in His presence.

God will meet you at your current level of belief, but He also wants to grow your faith beyond what you think is possible.

Over the past 30 years living with lupus, I can honestly say there were seasons where I had a relationship with God, but still struggled to fully believe He could heal me or perform miracles in my life.

Now I realize faith is not just believing God can do it for others.
It’s believing He can do it for you too.

This doesn’t have to be your story forever.

God wants to bring healing, comfort, restoration, and peace into your life. He wants to restore years of pain and remind you that your diagnosis does not have the final say.

But sometimes the first step toward healing is believing He is still able.

After my lupus diagnosis, I realized medication alone couldn’t be my only plan.

At 11 years old, I started making decisions that would shape how I approached my health for the rest of my life.

Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
But intentionally.

Over time, I realized there were 3 areas I needed to take ownership of:

💜My faith
💜My mindset
💜My fitness

Because healing impacted more than just my body.

My faith gave me something steady to stand on in hard seasons.

My mindset shaped how I handled fear, setbacks, discipline, stress, and hope.

And fitness became less about fighting my body…
and more about learning how to support it.

Looking back now, these same principles still shape how I live today…
and how I coach my clients now.

Healing began when I stopped seeing lupus as something to only fight…
and started learning how to care for myself differently.

Over the next few posts, I’m going to break down each of these areas deeper.

I love when I can connect with women who are thriving with Lupus and are creating experiences to show other lupus warriors what their bodies are capable of. The Empowered in Purple Lupus Pilates Experience was just that. 💜💜💜

Shoutout to for an amazing event this past Saturday. I enjoyed taking a moment to slow down, tune-in, and listen to my body for a moment.

Thank you for taking our pilates experience at a slower more intentional pace. I needed the switch up from the sculpt pilates I have become accustom to.

Definitely looking forward to the next event.

I grew up living with lupus. Now at 41, I have lived longer with it than without it. The resources available then to manage and cope with lupus were limited. My doctors could only offer a booklet, prescribe me medication, and send me home to figure it out.

Those decisions I made to manage my health then are still shaping my health, well-being, and what I teach as a coach.

May is Lupus Awareness Month. 💜🦋

The impact of lupus goes beyond the physical symptoms and signs of disease. Join me this month as I unpack a conversation about what we do after the diagnosis. A diagnosis is just the beginning learning to live and navigate lupus is when the journey begins.

Stay tune I look forward to sharing my journey with you.

A time was had Friday night! ✨🩷

I had the honor of serving on the Welcome Team for my church’s women’s ministry event; Change Her: Girls Night In.

In true pajama party fashion, women of gathered to pray, worship, and be spiritually refueled alongside other like-minded sisters in Christ. Pastor and the events team truly outdid themselves!

After the service, we celebrated with an after party complete with food, dancing, photo booths, karaoke, makeup classes, fragrance making, and even massages.

While I couldn’t do everything, I definitely had a good time with my team and we made sure of that.

In this season, God is opening my eyes to two powerful truths:
1️⃣ The power of serving
2️⃣ The power of community

Both have brought me deep joy as part of the Welcome Team.

Too often, our diagnosis or circumstances try to convince us to live in isolation but God calls us to gather, to lift one another up, and to carry each other’s burdens.

Because it’s in community and partnership that healing truly begins. 🫂💕

Reflection: Where might God be inviting you to step out of isolation and experience healing through community?

Your health goals aren’t just physical; they’re Spiritual.

Most people chase health to fix themselves.
But true healing begins when you stop performing and start partnering with God.

When faith leads, your habits shift.
Your plate becomes an altar.
Your movement becomes worship.
Your rest becomes obedience.

Healing isn’t a destination; it’s daily alignment with the One who made you whole.

One of the fastest ways to lose hope is to let your diagnosis define you.

But your diagnosis doesn’t get the final word…. God does.

When I was first diagnosed with lupus, my faith became real in a new way.

I knew God for years; but walking through illness taught me to truly anchor my identity in Him.

Lupus didn’t define me; it refined me.

It revealed the strength, peace, and identity that only come through Christ.

Your diagnosis may describe your situation, but it doesn’t define your identity.

You are still His daughter. You still have purpose. You still carry power.

💬 DM RESET if you’re ready to reclaim who you are in Christ.

I’m not your average coach; 29 years with lupus and 2 kidney transplants later, I’m still here.

Why Movement Heals… Even When You’re Tired

One of the misconceptions that holds many of my clients back is believing that all fatigue is bad.

With lupus, autoimmune fatigue feels never-ending.

Your immune system is in overdrive, like your body is running a marathon even when you’re sitting still. That kind of fatigue is draining, and while rest helps, it doesn’t rebuild your strength.

If you’re ready to learn how to rebuild energy and strength without burning out,

DM me the word ‘FLOURISH’ and I’ll share how my Nourish to Flourish Method™ can help.

Here’s the truth: not all fatigue is the same.
When movement is done wisely, working your body to a safe challenge point creates the opposite effect. It’s not about exhaustion, it’s about sending your body a signal to adapt.

That adaptation builds stamina, strength, and energy resilience; which can actually help reduce autoimmune fatigue over time.

The key is moving with wisdom:
• Start small → gentle mobility, light strength, short walks
• Progress slowly → add challenge, not punishment
• Recover well → hydration, rest, and grace

Because healing doesn’t always look like stopping… sometimes it looks like moving forward in grace.

‘Run with endurance the race set before us.’
— Hebrews 12:1

If this speaks to you and you’re ready for a rhythm of wellness that actually works with lupus

DM me the word ‘FLOURISH’ and let’s build your strength, stamina, and resilience together.
