🦊 36 Chambers — What a Night. 🔥

The mats were full. The energy was high. And the work was real.

Thank you to every student who came out for our 36 Chambers Event and pushed themselves through the challenges. From conditioning rounds to technical drills to sparring exchanges — you showed grit, focus, and heart.

Events like this aren’t about perfection. They’re about stepping forward, testing yourself, and discovering what you’re capable of when the intensity rises.

We saw breakthroughs. We saw teammates encouraging each other. We saw people dig deeper than they thought they could.

That’s what this event was all about.

Big congratulations to Brian on completing his Connecting Fist proficiency test!

Brian brought strong presence, commitment, and clarity to his demonstration. He showed a growing ability to move with intention, link techniques smoothly, and stay grounded in structure while transitioning through the form. Throughout the test, it was clear that Brian has been putting in real work — not just memorizing movements, but building confidence and ownership in how they’re expressed.

Connecting Fist rewards consistency and thoughtful repetition, and Brian’s progress reflects exactly that. This milestone marks another solid step forward in his Kung Fu journey.

🦊 Student Spotlight: Eric Earle 🥋

Congratulations to Eric Earle on successfully passing his Connecting Fist proficiency test!

Eric demonstrated the full form on both sides, showing not only solid structure and flow, but a clear understanding of why each movement exists. Even more importantly, he was able to confidently explain and demonstrate the practical utility of every technique, connecting traditional form to real application — exactly what we aim for in our training.

Connecting Fist is about transitions, adaptability, and making techniques work together seamlessly, and Eric showed a strong grasp of all of it. This test reflects real progress, thoughtful practice, and consistent effort.

The new year has begun, and our students are back on the mats — reconnecting, rebuilding, and continuing the journey. There’s something powerful about returning to training after a pause: familiar faces, shared effort, and the quiet reminder that growth comes from showing up again and again.

At The Fox’s Den Kung Fu, we don’t rush the process. We train with intention, support one another, and build strength step by step — physically, mentally, and as a community.

We’re proud of every student who walked back through the door this week. This year isn’t about perfection — it’s about consistency, curiosity, and commitment.
