Woodmont Country Club welcomes new Tennis Director -
Aaron West

Aaron has been a certified USPTA Elite Professional, USTA member and NTRP tennis rater since 1995. Originally from Oklahoma, where in 1994, he obtained his BA degree in Sports Management. Aaron was a highly ranked national Junior and a two time colligate, first team, All American with a years end doubles ranking of #2 in the USA. Aaron is also a three time high school State Champion and Prince All American high school player. He attained the honor of being on the prestigious Oklahoma All Decade Team.

Over Aaron’s 25 year career as a tennis instructor, he has been a national traveling coach and achieved numerous honors. In his teaching career he has been the personal coach of over 30 State High School Champions, 5 National Champions and is the former coach of 2017 WORLD top 30 doubles player and Grand Slam (2014 Australian Open) finalist, Eric Butorac. Aaron is also the former private coach of 2017 #1 ranked and NCAA Doubles National Champion, Spencer Papa, from the University of Oklahoma.

Aaron has served as the Head Tennis Professional at Crestview Country Club (KS), Rochester Tennis Connection (MN), Oak Tree Country Club (OK), and was the Director of Operations for 7 years at Tennis Pro’s of Atlanta (GA).

Aaron is available for Private, semi-Private, Group & video lessons, as well as, team Coaching. He also has three young children with his wife Shelley, who have resided in Cu***ng for the past 14yrs.
