Ye Krewe of Pewter Pirates let out a big sigh today

Shilo Sanders — son of Deion “Prime Time” Sanders and brother of Browns QB Shedeur — has officially been waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Undrafted out of Colorado, Sanders was already fighting from the third-string spot, but his preseason meltdown sealed his fate. After getting ejected for throwing a punch at a Bills TE right in front of the ref (seriously, matey, ye can’t be swingin’ fists in plain sight),
Coach Bowles made it clear:
👉 “You can’t throw punches in this league. That’s inexcusable.”

It’s a tough blow for Sanders, who had just signed a 3-year deal worth nearly $3 million. Instead of making waves in Pewter & Red, he’s walkin’ the plank before the season even sets sail.

As Buccaneers fans, we’ve seen young hopefuls rise and fall — but this one stings. Instead of showin’ grit and makin’ plays, Sanders sank his own ship. The NFL seas are unforgiving, and the Bucs can’t afford dead weight when the cannons are ready to fire.

⚓️ Onward, Pewter Pirates… our crew needs warriors who can fight for the team, not against it.
