What are you going to achieve in life?

You can’t do it until you think 🤔 it.

Start today by beginning the cleansing process.

Take a moment and start fresh and new.

Ask God for cleansing, confess to Him all the things you’ve allowed into your mind and heart that shouldn’t be there.

Give Him control of the rest of your life, one day at a time.

Or as Mahatma Gandhi said, “Be the CHANGE that you wish to see in the (your) world.”
I oftentimes find myself confused 🤷🏻‍♂️ about a message because of the broad generalizations it may communicate
But not these
These messages, whether from Gandhi or a message board, shoot straight from the hip
I did adjust Gandhi’s message by not looking at the world 🌎 as this immense platform, however, I viewed the world as the one I step into physically daily
My family world
My job world
My church world
My social world
My influence world
This is the world I can change
This is the world I can be the change in
This is the world I’m either happy with or not
As I sat this morning in my quiet time, my mind wandered to the past 10 years and the CHANGES that have occurred IN me and how “the world” around me also changed
During this morning’s reflection, I was reminded about a conversation and I had with PJ explaining to him that in 2009 I wasn’t happy with my life of uncertainty and the aimless chasing of unattainable euphoria from life’s deceit and deception
so I had to make a CHANGE
That this one CHANGE was the catapult of who I am and the guiding light of who I shall become
The CHANGE: to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior
This one decision CHANGED how I move
how I think🤔
how I talk🗣
what I believe🙏🏼
how I love❤️
Whether you’re changing the world on a monumental level or on a personal level, what matters the most is that this CHANGE begins IN you
Be the difference!

FLIP THE SCRIPT
Instead of criticizing people, your circumstances, your spouse
Take this tip I just learned at this month’s leadership mastermind meeting
Criticize by CHANGING your mind or better yet your ATTITUDE
Since all the above is predictable based on your current attitude state
This is best summed up by an eye opening quote: Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.

Sometimes easier said than done
But that’s ok
It’s all part of our story
The Fear
I used to fear heights, but at a young age I would climb the fire escapes of my abuela’s old building back in the South Bronx with my cousins and realized: respect the dangers of heights but ultimately the fear of falling can be control
Nowadays my fear isn’t falling more so then failing...to become better
At times I’m locked 🔒 in my own thoughts on what to do next that I don’t do anything and that is my biggest fear
Unfortunately, I’ve hit those moments more than I care to explain
Yet, what I’ve learned is if I can do something small and insignificant to most people but huge in my forward progress I walk towards the fear and eventually stare it down and realize it’s smaller than what I made it to be
The moral of this post: it’s ok to fear your DREAMS and it’s ok to begin something meaningful and think “Oh shoot I’m not ready” because that’s when you know 💯% you’re stepping into your PURPOSE
