Lately I've been reflecting on grief.

Not just the grief that comes with losing a loved one, but the many forms of loss we experience as humans:

The loss of trust.
The loss of a sense of belonging.
The loss of a dream we thought would happen.
The loss of a version of ourselves.

What I've noticed—in my own life and in my work with clients—is that grief does something surprising when we're willing to be with it.

It softens us.

And in that softening, something opens.

When we're no longer spending so much energy pushing away the pain, we often become more sensitive to what is true. We can hear our inner voice more clearly. We become more aware of what is aligned, what is no longer working, and what is quietly asking for our attention.

The grieving journey is not easy. But it has a powerful way of clearing and making space in our hearts and minds.

And when the dust settles, we're often standing closer to ourselves than before.

If you're moving through a season of loss right now, my heart is with you. 💗

And if you feel called, I'd love to hear:

What has grief taught you?

Sometimes intuition answers a different question than the one we asked.

I once did a reading for a woman who wanted guidance about getting pregnant. She had been trying for a long time and was beginning to fear it might not happen.

What came through?

✨ Make art.
✨ Work with your hands.
✨ Return to something that brings you joy.

Not exactly the answer she expected. But she followed the guidance.

She started making dreamcatchers again.
Her creativity came alive.
Something softened as she reconnected with her joy.

Years later, I learned she had welcomed a baby. :)

Was the guidance about getting pregnant? Not directly. But it was about returning to herself. And sometimes that's where the healing begins.

Intuition doesn't always arrive as a detailed map.

Sometimes it comes as an image. A feeling. A phrase.
A gentle nudge that doesn't fully make sense.

And often, its meaning unfolds later.

🌿 What intuitive nudge keeps returning for you lately?

Last week I wrote about resistance—and then immediately got the chance to practice what I was preaching. 😆

I just returned from a six-day women's gathering called We Are The Weavers. It was one of the most nourishing and deep experiences I've had in a long time.

We lived simply on the land.
We became part of a village and took care of each other.
We practiced life skills together and made beautiful creations with our hands (mine is in the photo!)
We sang, shared meals, stories, and danced by the fire.
We steadied our nervous systems and connected more deeply with ourselves, each other, and the earth.

The funny thing is, before I made the decision to go, I had plenty of reasons not to.

A very long drive with a toddler who doesn't sleep in the car.
Rustic camping conditions (and lots of cloth diapers to wash!).
Rain and cold nights in the forecast.
A week away from work.
Multiple scheduling challenges.
Lots of unknowns.

Committing to it and making it there felt HARD!

But underneath the logistics puzzle and resistance was something else:

A quiet, steady yes.

Not a clear roadmap.
Not total certainty.
Just a feeling that kept returning.

I've noticed that intuition often speaks this way.

It doesn't always explain itself, and it rarely provides guarantees. But it has a way of gently tugging at our hearts until we're willing to listen.

And when we do? Sometimes we're led exactly where we need to be.

I'm curious: Have you ever followed an inner nudge that didn't make logical sense at the time?

I'd love to hear your story in the comments. 💗

If you're navigating a decision, transition, or quiet calling of your own and want support sorting through the noise, I offer 1:1 intuitive sessions and mentorship to help you listen in and build trust in your inner knowing.

Sometimes resistance shows up like:
avoiding the thing
cleaning your house instead 😅
overthinking
procrastinating
suddenly becoming very interested in random admin tasks

And sometimes it shows up as pushing ourselves so hard that we disconnect from our bodies, creativity, and actual needs in the process.

I’ve been reflecting lately on how many of us were taught there are only two options: avoid or force.

But what if there’s another way?

What if, instead of fighting resistance or trying to outrun it, we met ourselves there with curiosity?

Not collapsing into it.
Not overriding ourselves.
Just staying present long enough to listen.

I even experience resistance writing these posts 😂
And usually what helps isn’t shaming myself into action—it’s staying with the discomfort long enough to take a small step forward.

That’s often when the energy starts moving again.

This week’s newsletter is about meeting yourself at the edge of resistance with more compassion, presence, and gentleness. 🌿

By the way, this is a painting I did years ago! I like the feeling of levity and warmth it brings... a good way to hold resistance. :)

Lately I’ve been thinking about doubt.

Not as something to conquer or “heal” away—but as a natural part of being human when we’re growing, stretching, and stepping out of our comfort zone.

I used to think trusting myself meant eventually arriving at some magical place of permanent clarity and certainty. 😅

But honestly? The deeper I go into motherhood, entrepreneurship, creativity, and spiritual work, the more I’m learning that self-trust often looks like staying connected to myself while uncertainty is present.

The other day I did a visualization where I invited doubt to come sit beside me on the couch. I expected it to show up timid and fearful—but it was more like a lively kid who plopped next to me and said confidently:

“I’m here to stay.”

😂

Instead of fighting it, I simply said, “Okay. You can be here.”

And... that brought relief.

Because I realized I don’t need to get rid of doubt in order to move forward confidently. I can still listen to my intuition. I can still take aligned steps. I can still trust myself one day at a time. Without needing to have all the answers or do it perfectly.

This is a central part of the work I support people with in my 1:1 sessions and mentorship: learning how to stay connected to yourself while moving through uncertainty, transitions, and growth.

Not by becoming perfectly clear 100% of the time.
But by building trust in your ability to stay with yourself through the unknown.

Curious:
How do YOU relate to doubt?

A couple days ago I led our first online Live Intuitive Reading Circle, and wow… it was inspiring. ✨

People came with questions, curiosity, uncertainty—and left with deeper insight, encouragement, connection, and perspective. It was special to witness.

And for me personally, it was an opportunity to trust my intuitive connection while channeling live in front of a group of people listening closely to every word. 😅

Which can feel vulnerable!

It got me reflecting on how much I've grown since I first started giving readings thirteen years ago.

What’s different now?

I’m less tripped up by the fear of being wrong.

Not because doubt never appears. It definitely does. But I’ve learned that when I start overthinking or trying to mentally “figure out” every message before saying it, the flow gets blocked.

And honestly, I think this applies far beyond intuitive work.

How often does fear of being wrong stop us from speaking up, trying something new, making a change, or expressing ourselves authentically?

Perfectionism and self-protection can make us grip so tightly that we lose touch with the natural intelligence trying to move through us.

Lately I’ve been practicing relaxing my grip a little. Trusting the flow a little more. Letting myself move forward without needing all the answers.

Not perfectly. Just… as a practice. 🌿

(And yes—we’re doing another Live Intuitive Reading Circle on June 15th!)

Something changes inside us when we feel truly seen.

At our recent NOURISH Women’s Retreat, I was reminded how healing it can be to gather in spaces where we don’t have to perform, hold it all together, or hide the tender parts of ourselves.

There was laughter, vulnerability, nervous system settling, honest reflection, and the kind of connection that happens when people feel safe enough to be real.

By the end of the day, faces had softened. Bodies relaxed. Hearts were playful. The room felt more open, grounded, and alive.

Healing doesn't come from "fixing" ourselves. It comes from letting our messy, beautiful, real selves be witnessed with presence and care.

🌿 If you’re craving an intentional space to land in your body more fully, regulate your nervous system, and find true camaraderie with beautiful souls, I’d love to welcome you to our next NOURISH Women's Retreat.

🌿 And if you want a taste of intuitive work community-style, my upcoming Live Intuitive Reading Circle is a beautiful way to receive guidance, witness others’ processes, and deepen trust in your inner knowing.

I spent part of my twenties living off-grid in a rural mountain town in Patagonia, Argentina.

With no phone reception or wifi for miles, it was easy to be exactly where I was—in a wild, beautiful forest interspersed with farmland, dirt roads, turquoise rivers, and magical swinging bridges.

And yes… little gnomes under the bridges. ;)

I took in everything. The stories the landscape told... the sounds and smells that fed my senses... The people I encountered who were warm and available.

Mindfulness wasn't something I practiced. It just happened. There were no distractions pulling me out of the moment. No multi-tasking, no trying to coordinate an event from my phone. No rush to get anywhere. Just me and the unfolding of the day.

That time gave me a window into a slower way of being. It showed me the beauty of simplicity, and what it feels like to have my attention in one place. My nervous system was very happy there!

These days, life looks very different—running a business, raising a toddler, moving through a faster-paced world. I find I have to be much more intentional about creating those moments.

Can you relate?

It’s ironic - we have more tools, more access at our fingertips, more ways to be efficient… which often leads to doing more, filling our calendars, and splitting our attention across multiple channels at once.

And so, we find ourselves in the very real PRACTICE of mindfulness!

If you’re craving a space to slow down and reconnect with your body, heart, and spirit, we’ll be doing exactly that at my NOURISH Spring Retreat for Women this Sunday 🌿

There’s still time to join if you’re feeling the pull.

Happy Earth Day! 🌏💗

Hope you found a moment today to slow down and take in the living world around us - whether that be getting your hands in the dirt, doing something regenerative, smelling the blossoms, hugging a tree... or watering your plants with extra intention. :)

And, may these acts carry on into each day. After all, EVERY day is earth day!

Here's a snippet from a song called Roots & Blossoms - inspired by Spring, nature's rhythm, and our connection to it.
