Due to the current Coronus virus pandemic it has been decided by Dixie Youth to cancel all post season play. If you chose to play your regular season, you may do so, but there will be no post season play. We have decided to offer the winners of the bidding on the 2020 state tournaments from this year to carry over to the 2021 season.

March 13th - UPDATE ON COVID-19
Montgomery, Alabama - March 13, 2020 – Over the last 24-48 hours there has been a lot of news on the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. Recently Dixie Youth Baseball has issued bulletins to our officials and leagues on how to deal with this situation. In an effort to help stem the spread of the COVID-19 virus Dixie Youth Baseball now feels that it is in the best interest of all involved to recommend to our leagues that they delay the start of our 2020 regular season. We request that DYB leagues suspend all activities that involve the gathering of individuals for games and/or practices until after April 4, 2020.
Due to Dixie Youth Baseball’s recommendation that you suspend your season
eligibility for the 2020 season as necessary.
We encourage any league that chooses to not delay their season to consult with their local government, school boards and health departments before making a final decision.
Dixie Youth Baseball will continue to monitor this situation. We encourage all of our leagues to follow the guidelines of the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at www.cdc.gov .
