DS Saddlery DS Saddlery is owned and operated by Catherine Overstreet in Jacksonville AL. Catherine is certified through Mike Scott's Fitting and Flocking School.

Catherine strives to stay abreast of the ever changing saddle industry's trends and provided clients with an unbiased opinion. It is the goal of Embrace Saddle Fit to properly fit horse and rider as a pair so that they may experience FREEDOM from any restrictions, BALANCE in every ride and HARMONY in their relationship. Catherine has devoted herself to the study of Equine Biomechanics. Recently at

While waiting on trees to arrive for our next saddle builds, I decided the shop’s newest old-timer deserved a little attention. 🤎

I picked up this drawdown stand at an estate sale, and he was definitely showing his age. A little stripping, fresh padding, new suede, and some TLC later—and he’s ready to go back to work.

There’s just something about bringing an old piece of saddle-making equipment back to life instead of replacing it with something new.

Can’t wait to put him into service this week. One more workhorse ready for the DS Saddlery shop. 🔨🐴
