We are delighted to announce that Shea McAuley & Mason Bowater has joined the club ahead of the 20/21 season.

Central defender Shea joins the club from Linfield & will add aggression and leadership to the Colts back 4. Shea has already showed his defensive qualities in friendlies over the last few weeks.

Mason joins the club from Bangor who has played 05 football the last two seasons. Masons creativity will be a great asset to the Colts midfield & scored his first goal for the club in today’s friendly.

Both boys are pictured below after this mornings game with Ballinamallard Youth ⚽️

National League U14 Plate Result

Ballyclare Colts 4-1 Ridgeway Rovers

Colts sealed their place in the quarter final of the plate today with an impressive performance over Ridgeway Rovers at Allen Park.

Colts started the game well & on the front foot without finding the break through. Ridgeway scored from a corner against the run of play with Zach Law levelling the scores before the break after good work from Blake Rosbotham.

The introduction of Mcwilliams at half time give the Colts a different dimension in attack with 2 quick fire goals to put the Colts in control of the game. Kris Kelly stepped up to put a free kick into the top corner from 20 yards to seal the win.

A superb team performance this morning & full credit to both teams trying to play the right way 💪🏻

We look forward to hosting St Oliver Plunkett in the quarter final.

February Player of the month

A big well done to Lewis Torrens who is our February player of the month...

Leads by example on the training pitch and in matches... Lewis has had a very solid month at the heart of our defence & has been a consistent performer throughout the season.

Since Lewis arrival to the club last summer, he has added much needed pace and aggression in our back four. 💪🏻

Well done Lewis; well deserved 👍

National League B Section Result

Ballyclare Colts 0-0 Greenisland

Colts welcomed league winners Greenisland to Allen Park this morning on a very blustery morning. The away side started off the better side with the wind of their backs. Colby Davidson in the Colts goal showed great handling with several cross balls into the box.

Colts started the second half much brighter & getting onto the front foot...Greenislands keeper pulled off 2 great saves from a Kelly free kick then pushing a Jay Torrens shot wide...

A day where both defences on top... both teams deserve credit for trying to play football in windy conditions 💨

Congratulations to Greenisland on deservedly winning the league.

Next up for the Colts is Ridgeway in the plate @ Allen Park
