The firearm safety correction I make the most on the range is the 4th one listed on the list below.
I'll continue to make the corrections because safety is primary to everything.

This is my "FOTT" (Finger Off The Trigger) video I've edited from a range session.

FIREARM SAFETY RULES
1. TREAT every weapon as if it is loaded. Never assume a firearm is clear; assume it is loaded.

2. NEVER point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. Maintain strict muzzle awareness and discipline at all times.

3. KEEP your weapon pointed in a safe direction until you have made the legal & conscious decision to fire.

4. KEEP your Finger Off The Trigger until you are ready to fire and
are on target.

When you're missing your shots high, aiming is likely the problem. And lets work on that grip while we're at it.

I finally decided to set up my range belt for outdoor range training. To anyone looking to do something similar, these are some of the tips I learned and used in my setup.

There are other multiple brands available for every type of item and accessory in this video. So this is not an endorsement for any brand I mention in the video.
I used a belt system and holster systems that I've owned for years to finally complete my range belt system.
