Straight Outta Mableton 50K Straight Outta Mableton is a grassroots neighborhood 5K/10K/15K nestled in Cobb County Georgia. It’s going to be laid back but full of its challenges and fun!

Buried in Cobb County lies a concrete jungle few ever really experience throughout the sprawling city of Mableton. Inside the neighborhood of Providence lies miles and miles of hills few areas of domestic living could possibly compare to. Last year it was the home to a virtual race that led to its official naming of The Straight Outta Mableton 10K/Half Marathon/50K. It gave folks a chance to take

their minds off things while running around a friendly neighborhood while being supported by strangers cheering everyone on from their front lawns and joining for miles throughout the day. In 2021 we still have our challenges, but we’ve decided to make this race a tradition! On May 8th the 50K official start time will be 7am and packet pick up is between 6am-6:45am. The course is a 10K loop that will cover 4 miles of road then some trail running with about 2,500 feet of elevation gain total for the 50K. The Half Marathon and 10K is anytime earlier than noon but no later with a quick check in, pick up your bib, and sign in with your start time. When you finish you’ll sign out then hang or roll, up to you! There will be a good cold beer provided at the finish and a race day koozies to keep it cold! Entrance fee is $20 to cover some costs. At the start/finish line there will be a tent set up that will only provide water only so please bring whatever you need and it’ll be safely kept there. NO CUTOFF! Walk it all in if you’ve got to. It’s limited to 20 runners only due to safety.

Save the date! The Straight Outta Mableton sign up will open March 1st and this year it’s all about the hills and the streets with a 10K and Half Marathon distance.

Excited to bring this gem to life again this year but this time it’s’ official thanks to my Co-Director Arabelle Romeo and some help from some special neighbors.
