As I fell short Saturday of accomplishing the goal of winning another City Championship, I learned a lot about myself to become a better player and coach. This season was filled with a lot of ups and downs. From losing two matches in the regular season, putting together extraordinary wins to make the playoffs, the three-set comeback wins in every round of the playoffs, and finishing as a City Finalist. However, I am proud of myself and this team as a first-year co-captain and about the past three consecutive seasons of consecutively making the playoffs, being a 2023 City Champion, and a 2024 City Finalist. This is far from the end for the Tigers, and I'm looking forward to making another run at the title next season!

Hello everyone!

My name is Coach Vernard, widely known as Coach V. With a lifelong passion for tennis, I have honed my skills through years of dedicated training and competition. My journey began at the high school level, progressed through competing collegiately at Morehouse College, and continues today as an active ALTA player and ALTA City Champion!

Currently, I serve as a Certified Tennis Professional at a tennis academy and tennis center in Alpharetta, GA. I offer my expertise to a diverse range of students, including children, juniors, and adults.

I am eager to work with you and help you achieve your tennis goals!
