This is what happens when you stop under-eating and start training for YOUR physique.

Same client. Same back pose. Different strategy — and the glutes tell the story.

Here’s what changed:

She started eating enough to actually build. You cannot grow muscle in a chronic deficit. Period. Every woman I take on who’s been “dieting” for years has the same pattern — under-fueled, under-recovered, and confused why her glutes won’t grow no matter how many hip thrusts she does. Food is the building material. No food, no build.

We trained for HER physique — not a generic program. Glute development isn’t about doing more. It’s about training the right movement patterns, in the right rep ranges, with the right load progression, at the right frequency for HER structure and recovery capacity. Programming is a prescription, not a Pinterest board.

Recovery became non-negotiable. Sleep. Stress management. Nervous system regulation. Enough carbs to actually train hard the next session. This is where the magic happens — not in the gym, but in the 23 hours between sessions.

She trusted the process long enough to see it work. Glute growth is not a 6-week story. It’s a 6-month, 12-month, multi-year story. The women who win are the ones who stop chasing fast results and commit to the strategy that actually builds.

This is what optimal training and proper fueling looks like over time. Not extreme. Not punishing. Strategic.

When progress slows, it’s natural to eat less, but doing so lowers energy, reduces recovery, and signals the body to conserve.

One thing I’m low-key proud of? My clients understand WHY.

This message hit me today. And it’s exactly what I built my coaching practice to do.

500 calories. PEDs. No organ support. No education. Hospitalized. And a coach with an attitude when she dared to ask a question.

That’s not coaching. That’s negligence with a meal plan.

Here’s the thing I’m quietly proud of — my clients can tell you:
→ Why their carbs are where they are this week
→ What their supplements are actually doing in their body
→ How their hormones, gut, and metabolism are responding to the plan
→ Why we’re pushing here and pulling back there
→ What the labs mean and what we’re tracking

Because this is THEIR body. Not mine. Not a science experiment. Not a project I’m running on them.

I don’t want clients who blindly follow me. I want women who walk away from working with me knowing how their own body works — so they can make informed decisions for the rest of their life, with or without a coach.

Education is the deliverable. The physique is the byproduct.

Years of low calories, high stress, and frequent dieting signal the body that energy is scarce.

In response:
👉🏼 the body reduces resting energy expenditure
👉🏼 slows digestion
👉🏼 prioritizes fat storage to protect against perceived threats.

This is why cutting more calories or adding more cardio often fails: the body is already in survival mode, conserving energy wherever it can.

Real change happens when the body feels safe with enough energy, proper recovery, and balanced hormones so metabolism can reset and function optimally again.

A lot of women get stuck because they assume they need more discipline. More structure. More pushing.
