Bottom of the last inning, down by 1 run! 2028 Addi Myers hits a lead off single, and the bunt sign was given. 2028 Maddie Taylor takes over from there! Beat the throw, but it goes up the line. In a rush the right fielder falls allowing Addi to score, and then the throw gets away from the catcher. Truthfully, I was holding Maddie at 3rd, but she reacted and saw something different, and then used her elite speed to score the winning run!!

This group continue to prove they are a team to be reckoned with. Going 7-1 on the weekend, 5-0 in pool play finishing 1st and then making it to the quarter finals of the tournament bracket finishing T5 overall. We started and finished with a couple defensive hiccups, but the whole group stepped up and played hard no matter what was thrown their way.
