I've been making some new designs for my EL community, just in time for volleyball and football season! I'll be adding more for cheer, too 🥰

Let's talk about the kids 😅

This is one of my sweet friends and her (almost) 4yr old. When they arrived, he was 100% uninterested in participating with us 😂 [see photo #1]

It took some bargaining, pleading, time (lost our sunset lol), and a lot of patience...but Asher came out of his shell and was the happy, playful kid I was expecting 🥰

The point is: parents, set your expectations a little lower when it comes to the younger kids in your sessions! Sometimes they need time to warm up, sometimes they are just in a mood, sometimes they are overstimulated, and sometimes they just don't wanna 😂

As seasoned photographers, especially in lifestyle photography, we always do our best to bring out the happy in kids, but also keep in mind that this season of life is what it is, moodswings and all. After all, those are the real memories 🫶
