Man, I owe an apology to all our fans and crew. I know I wasn’t too exciting to watch during the first half, but toward the end I finally let my nuts hang and went after it.
I can’t thank my crew enough. These guys put in more work behind the scenes than most people ever see, and I’ll always be grateful for every one of them. Uncle Keith, Nick, Matt, Noah, Austin, and Parker all pulled their weight and helped give me a car I could go race with.
We also want to give some love to our extended racing family. Doug and Dakoda made the trip up to the Rim and got some valuable track time in, and we’re extremely happy for them. Doug has also been a huge help to our team, sharing his time, experience, and knowledge whenever we’ve needed it. We appreciate everything he continues to do for Walsh Racecraft. Also our extended family with Austin and his team that went down to Sayre this weekend. We had a busy weekend for the gang!
Chief had me attacking the corner tonight — hell of a job. There’s something a little different about knowing the one person who wants to see you succeed just as much as he wants to win himself is right there in your rearview mirror. It definitely makes you think twice.
A special thank-you to the crew that keeps this #4 going:
• Crew Chief — Gary Walsh
• Upcoming Spotter — Nick Walsh
• Lead Crewman — Keith Walsh
• Assistant Lead Crewman — Matt Cordle
• Assistant Lead Crewman — Noah Dameron
• Crewman — Parker Swords
• Additional Second Crew Chief — Doug Emerson
And a special thank-you to our media team for keeping everyone following along:
• Wallace Kendrick
• Emilie Bell
Last but definitely not least, please support the sponsors who support us. They’re a huge part of what keeps this team on the track:
• Swords Mobile Detail — Manning Swords
• H&M Prestige General Contracting — Kevin Wilcox & Adam Merrell
• Metal Masters — Austin Finley
• John Thomas Race Engines — John Thomas & Cole Bagwell
• Alabama Dent Repair — Doug Newton
Thank you to everybody who continues to support Walsh Racecraft. We’re learning, getting better, and getting faster every time we unload.
Until next time… 🏁
