Practice is paying off with these three! đŸ–€đŸ€Ž

While Gemini has her basics down, we’ve somehow added “fist bump” to the list, and yes, she knows exactly what it means.

Wylie is doing better with “stand” and “stay,” but he still has some work to do
 especially when it comes to agreeing with me that he absolutely does not have two left feet.

Judy has most of her basics down too, but she still doesn’t quite understand, or more accurately, doesn’t want to understand, the whole concept of “stay.”

Three different personalities, three different learning styles, and plenty of practice ahead!

3 weeks of working with this guy, and the progress he’s made in such a short time is amazing! đŸ–€đŸ€Ž

Excited to see him (and myself) continue to learn, improve, and excel at this game. We still have a lot of work to do, and I really need to get this stack down.

Well well it’s another pupdate!

“Jimmy is settling in well... he still doesn't understand why the Cavaliers won't play! He starts obedience classes next week and is already doing well with sit. He is a gentleman on a leash but a true hound and must smell EVERYTHING. He knows no stranger... animals included. He has become the face of our Animal Hospital and everyone asks to see him. Thank you SO much for letting us enjoy such a wonderful dog!”

Jimmy, you’re going to do great in puppy class! Your Tejas family will be cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see your puppy graduation certificate and, of course, plenty of graduation pictures too. We’re so proud and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you!

Another pupdate!

Jethro has been taking scent work classes through NACSW and will be doing AKC ones as well. His mom says their instructor has been fantastic and that Jethro has quickly became one of the top dogs in his class. She said it's also been paying off! They went riding horses and he broke loose from the barn, tracked them through the woods and found themđŸ€Ł

They are hoping to do nose work, eventually field trials, thinking about trying barn hunt as well but the tracking and scent work are their first goals.

Jethro says Happy Belated 2nd Birthday to his litter mates too! 🎉

Pupdate!

Pancho is enjoying his first family Ranch trip & with all of the flooding in Uvalde, he is getting his chance to be a little water dog!

He is such a graceful swimmer at so young and is enjoying all the smells and loves adventures.

We’ve been putting in a little work with some of the furbabies (young & old) lately, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they’re handling it all and the progress they’re making.

From Puppy S.T.A.R. classes and conformation with some and scent work kicking off in September for others, they’re keeping us busy and we’re loving every minute of it!

And don’t think it’s just the little knotheads putting in the work
 one (maybe two đŸ€­) of the big knotheads are joining in the fun too.

Final round of puppy shots for the sisters this weekend, and they tipped the scales at 32 lbs and 33 lbs at just 13 weeks old.

Tomorrow is another big milestone—their very first puppy class! To say we’re excited would be an understatement. Not just for the training, but because the sisters are finally going to get a little “me time” and learn how to do things without each other. đŸ€Ł

Here’s to new adventures, new experiences, and watching these girls continue to grow into everything we know they can be. đŸ–€đŸ€Ž

All Eleven Miracles have been settling into their forever homes, and we couldn’t be happier to report that they’re all doing wonderfully!

A huge thank you to each and every one of our Tejas families for keeping us updated. The photos, videos, and stories you share truly mean the world to us. Watching these pups grow, seeing their personalities blossom, and following their adventures is one of the greatest joys of being breeders.

Thank you for loving them as much as we do. Once a Tejas pup, always Tejas family. We can’t wait to continue watching these eleven little miracles grow! đŸ–€đŸ€Ž
