What a way to open our first home gameday of the season!

We kicked it off by making history with Concord’s first-ever combined pre-game performance featuring CU Cheer + Concord University Dance Team — bringing even more energy, tradition and Mountain Lion pride to Callaghan Stadium!

Then our cheerleaders brought the ENERGY all day long — through the heat, every quarter and all the way to the final whistle. ☀️🔥

And the best part?

ANOTHER MOUNTAIN LION WIN. 🏈🏔️

2–0. UNDEFEATED. AND JUST GETTING STARTED.

New coach.
New traditions.
New energy.

There’s a different energy on the mountain this season- and we’re JUST GETTING STARTED 👀

✨ SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to everyone at CU who worked so hard all week to make this event happen seamlessly. New tunnel, new mascot, new scoreboard, new tailgating platform- we C-U 😉 - and we’re so proud to be part of it ALL ✨
