We’ve watched this group grow into their training in a different way. The fundamentals aren’t new to them anymore, they’re understood, and now we’re seeing them show up with more consistency, more control, and more intention.
They’re not just learning what to do, they’re starting to recognize when to do it and why. There’s more focus, more accountability, and a real confidence in how they move and carry themselves on the mats.
Earning a grey belt reflects that level of growth. It’s a strong foundation, real understanding, and a group of kids starting to take ownership of their training, and it’s been a lot of fun watching it all come together.

We’ve watched these kids come in not knowing anything, some shy, some full of energy, some struggling just to settle in, and over time we’ve seen them grow into it. They’ve learned how to listen, how to focus, how to be good training partners, and little by little they’ve started to put the pieces together.

Earning their grey and white belts reflects that shift. It’s the stage where the foundation is taking shape, where effort turns into awareness, and where we begin to see the early signs of understanding. We’re proud of every one of them, and they’ve made this whole journey just as fun as it has been meaningful.

Happy Birthday to the heart of our academy, Professor Anthony. He gives and does so much for this place. He’s on the mats every day teaching, training, competing, coaching, and pouring into the next generation. And even beyond the medals and the hours, what stands out the most is the impact he makes on our students and our community. He helps our kids find confidence, shares purpose with our adults, and helps all of us grow on and off the mats. Everyone here feels the difference he makes. The culture is stronger, kinder, more disciplined, more connected because of him. We’re grateful for everything he brings to the academy and for the standard he sets. Happy Birthday, Professor!!
