Before we start. This was very last minute. Got the car bought and to the shop Friday night at 11:30 pm.

Had to take a minute to thank everyone who helped get this car ready for the derby last night. It was the longest—and fastest—20 hours of my life thrashing to get it done.

First off, thank you to Coltan for the opportunity to run the car. Kyle, I appreciate you handling the welding while I worked on the wiring. Ryan, thanks for grabbing those last few parts we needed to finish it at the track.

Ashlynn, thank you for picking up paint, nuts, and bolts and for helping with Skyler while I was elbows deep in the car from the moment we got it all the way until it was loaded back on the trailer after the derby.

Don, I appreciate you jumping in to help at the track right up until it was time to smash it. And to everyone else at the track who lent a hand—I didn’t catch all your names in the chaos, but your help didn’t go unnoticed.

We are putting in the overtime hours to make it to the Fremont County Fair 208 Demolition Derby this Saturday! Cade will be running a borrowed derby car in the old iron class and coltan will be running the figure 8s! Hope to see yall there! Info on the event in the pictures below!

Hey guys! Cade here. We had a wild weekend at the demolition derby in St Anthony with 208 Demolition Derby, with the day starting out I was still getting my car together and the truck we were gonna use to transport the cars having issues, we made it to the track. While we were in the pits, I was still putting the car together. The night rounded out with Coltan Barney taking a trip to the ER, (which he is fine, he’s got a high sprained thumb, whiplash, and pulled a few muscles in his neck) and myself taking 2nd place in the figure 8 main. It was a great night and I’m proud of the team. As most we progress further into the future with the younger generation coming up and joining the race scene, we would like to welcome Hunter Christiansen with Skull Crusher Racing as a brother race team to us. Hunter is our little cousin that wanted to do his own team. So as we move forward. Barney Family Racing is in association with Skull Crusher Racing. We support him in his endeavors, his commitment and dedication. I tagged his page in this post so anyone who wants to follow his adventure can. Thank you all for your support, your cheering, hootin and hollerin, and most of all your participation at the events. Without yall we wouldn’t be where we are at today. Thank you all!

If yall are coming to the derby make sure to dress warm! Hope to see yall there tonight at the Fremont county fairgrounds! The event starts at 5:30 Pm so get there early enough to get the best seats!
