🚨 WHERE ALL THE LADIES AT?! 🏈🔥

We know that in our NFL Flag program, some of our girls have now aged out… but still want to compete and continue playing the game they love.

We also know there are some upcoming ladies from 1st–8th grade who are looking to be apart of this movement that is happening around the world with Girls Flag Football. 🌎🏈

Because of that, we are exploring the possibility of bringing a Girls Flag Football League to Ashland & surrounding communities! 👀

We understand many girls are also involved in volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheer, and other activities. That is why we are trying to gather feedback to find the BEST time, season, and structure that works for families so we can create more opportunities for girls to play and compete.

We are currently looking to see:
🏈 What schools may have interest
🏈 What communities may want to participate
🏈 Potential players, coaches, and teams
🏈 Interest in leagues, clinics, combines, and more

What a monumental day for women and Ashland athletics! Kaya Hendershott became the first ever Girls Flag Football player to commit and sign to go play football at the next level. She’s the first of many!! Can’t wait to watch her grow and watch her play at Defiance!! Thanks to rest of the girls and also Coach Recker for stopping by and witnessing history!!

Girls' flag football is absolutely EXPLODING across the country right now, and to see it take root right here in Ashland is something special! This isn’t just a team… this is the start of something BIG. 💪💥

These athletes are blazing a trail, breaking barriers, and showing that the future of the game is HERE—and it’s FAST, FUN, and FULL OF FIRE! 🔥🏃‍♀️🏈
