A special day for Ashland Boys Basketball.

Yesterday, the new Ashland Arrows Boys Basketball All-Time Leading Scorers board was dedicated inside Arrow Arena.

Congratulations to Paxon Ediger and Gabe Baith, two recent Arrows who earned their place among the best to ever wear the orange and black.

Paxon Ediger — #4 all-time with 1,275 points
Gabe Baith — #8 all-time with 1,036 points

To have both of these guys on the board at the same time says a lot about the level of basketball Ashland has played these last few years.

A lot of points, a lot of wins, and a lot of great memories.

Congratulations to Paxon and Gabe on leaving their mark on Ashland Boys Basketball forever. 🏀🏹

Pax and Gabe made more history together earning All-Ohio honors! Congratulations to this dynamic duo🏹🏀

Ediger was selected to the All-Ohio second team in Division II, while Baith was a special-mention selection when the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association announced the Division I-III All-Ohio teams Thursday.

🏀 Postseason Honors for the Arrows! 🏀

🥇Paxon Ediger continues to rack up the accolades after a tremendous Senior season, being selected First Team All–Northwest District (Division II) by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association. The 6-foot combo guard averaged 23.3 points per game, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. He helped lead the Arrows to a share of the Ohio Cardinal Conference championship. Paxon became the program’s 4th all-time leading scorer (1,275 pts), netted the 2nd highest single-season average (23.3 ppg), set the single-game scoring record (44 pts), and notched a streak of 41 consecutive free throws (AHS record; 18th in the state).

🥈 Gabe Baith – Second Team All–Northwest District
* Averaged 15.1 points per game
* Joined Ashland’s 1,000-point club
* 2nd all-time career 3-pointers (179)

⭐ Reed Emmons – Honorable Mention All–Northwest District
* Averaged 11.2 points per game
* 44.4% from 3-point range
* 3rd single-season 3-pointers (64)

A big congratulations to these players—one of the most prolific trios is AHS history—and the entire team for representing Ashland Arrows Boys Basketball with pride this season.

🏀🧡 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗱 🖤🏀

The 2025–26 Ashland Arrows boys basketball season came to a close tonight with a hard-fought tournament loss to Toledo St. John’s in the District Semifinals.

Tournament basketball is unforgiving.
One night. One game. That’s all it takes.

But this season will never be defined by one scoreboard.

This team:
🧡 Won the OCC Championship
🖤 Battled through adversity throughout the season
🧡 Competed every night with grit and toughness
🖤 Represented Ashland with pride

To our seniors — thank you. Your leadership helped bring another championship back to Ashland.

To our returning players — the standard has been set.

To Coach Hess and the staff — leadership matters, and this program continues to grow because of the culture you’ve built.

And to the Ashland community — thank you for packing Arrow Arena, traveling in the postseason, and standing behind these young men every step of the way.

A tough ending tonight.
But a championship season will always be remembered.
