Debwe 8u 85 lbs Freestyle- 5th place
Dual Youth All American
Makyis 8u 56 lbs- Greco-Roman- Didn't place
Makyis 8u 56 lbs- Freestyle - 8th place
Freestyle Youth All American
Niiko 10u 71lbs- Greco-Roman - didn't place

The kids wrestled their hearts out earned All American Status but more importantly had fun, learned, experienced, and we're empowered to challenge themselves. I couldn't be more proud of these young men and at only 6, 7, and 9 years old the sky is the limit for these 3. Stay tuned because we're only getting warmed up 🤼🏽🔥😤🇺🇸🙏🏼

Debwe took 2nd today in Greco National Finals! Tomorrow we will be back at it in the Freestyle Nationals! He pinned the Illinois State champ and folkstyle National Champion to get to the top and lost a close nail biter to the Indiana State champ but as stated we're ready to come back tomorrow and bring the Ojibwe Heat 😤
Makyis did excellent today just had a monster bracket and again the boys first year doing Greco and already competing at the highest level!
Niiko is up now in the night session wish him luck! 🙏🏼🤙🏼

Debwe is wrestling for Lake Superior Ojibwe Wrestling Club Inc. and is in the National Greco Finals match! He just pinned the Illinois Folkstyle, freestyle, and greco state champ, folkstyle national champ, and stopped him a minute into the 1st round with an amazing counter throw 🤼🏽🇺🇸 let's go!!!
Makyis did excellent today had a humongous bracket got stuck with some animals but definitely had potential in his matches and the best part is he had tons of fun and is ready to turn the heat up tomorrow in freestyle!

No practice is Ashland this weekend we're out in Bemidji practicing at the clubhouse today 🤼🏽 Next weekend we will be at an outdoor tournament in Minnesota 🤼🏽 Stay tuned for when we're back in the bay area 🤼🏽🤙🏼
