Practice #1 for Junior High Football players (upcoming 7th and 8th grade) will be on April 7th, after school, at 3:30 PM.

All players will need athletic clothing as well as a pair of cleats to wear.

We will be done by 5 PM.

To be able to practice each player MUST HAVE Dragonfly Account , Current Physical , Concussion form signed on Dragonfly , Release form signed on Dragonfly , and Cardiac form signed on Dragonfly.

Your student athlete WILL NOT be able to participate if they do not have the above done before April 7th at 3:30 PM.

All of the above was discussed in parent meeting.

Ashford Football would like to welcome Coach Frank Killingsworth (Coach Kill) to the Yellowjacket family.

Coach Killingsworth joins us from Early County High School in Georgia, where he served as Assistant Principal and Head Football Coach. This past season, he led Early County to the Georgia State Semi-Finals in Class AD2, which is equivalent to 5A in Alabama.

Coach Killingsworth has been a head coach for 13 years in Georgia, with stops at Calhoun County, Miller County, and Early County. During that time, he has compiled a 90–61 overall record and won five region championships, including three straight at Early County.

Originally from Phenix City, Coach Killingsworth will serve as our Offensive Line Coach and will also be teaching History at Ashford High School.

Coach Killingsworth has twin daughters, Courtney Hardin and Chelsey Castings, and four grandchildren.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Kill to Ashford.
