We have our dates for dark sky night tours for the month of September! 💫✨🛸

Our tours meet shortly after sunset for equipment demonstration and set up. We begin stargazing about 30 minutes after sunset. To make a reservation, text your date of interest to 828-989-0015, preferably 24 to 48 hours in advance. Someone will contact you after 4PM. Reservations are required.

We had an awesome tour tonight at Root Cause Farm . We had clear skies, even with lightning in the distance! Yes we saw meteors tonight! Lots of thought provoking and interesting discussions with our guests. We regret that we were so busy chatting and watching the sky that we forgot to take pictures. If you were out with us tonight and got some photos, we would love for you to share them. 💚 ✌️🌠

Scientists say they're certain that a SpaceX rocket has slammed into the moon as predicted. While no one observed the actual impact, a telescope in Chile spotted what astronomers have identified as the debris plume resulting from the high-speed crash.
