A shout out to the mama and papa bears who brought their precious littles to my pool EVERY DAY until they attained their life saving skills in the water. I have so much admiration for their perserverence and commitment to pediatric safety.

Yep. I am writing this from a little waterside bar in Isla Mujeres Mexico. A bit of a curve ball, but spontaneity goes well with the sport. My how time flies when- You thought I was going to say: "when you’re having fun” didn’t you? Well, in reality it flies when you have kids. With kids, time soars like an eagle. Now before you all get excited; no, there was not a literal knock down of our boat. Just a metaphorical shattering of any presupposed confidence we thought we may have rightfully earned and owned. I will start in the middle of my story before going backwards to relay our goings ons since the last post. We started our journey from Oriental, the four of us, one happy medium sized family (and one very nervous dog)....
