I was born in Pennsylvania and raised in the DC metro area. References upon request

A sports enthusiast from an early age, I played a variety of competitive sports with basketball and football as my main focus. I continue to play basketball to this day at an elite level. I developed an interest in training at an early age and have been training people for well over thirty years. I have trained young kids through geriatric clients. These people participate at all levels from handi

capped through recreational players to professional athletes and bodybuilders. I train people in their homes, in gyms and outdoor settings. Perhaps my greatest asset as a trainer is my ability to adapt and modify a regimen to each individual client to help them meet their goals in a safe and controlled way. I have extensive training in all aspect of personal training and continue to attend seminars on a regular basis. I believe that fitness can be improved at virtually any age or level and will result in a better quality of life. Some clients benefit from being pushed and others require more nurturing. I work with each individual client to develop a starting point and then adapt the programs to insure that they are enjoyable, varied and that they move the client forward at a rate most comfortable for that client. Lastly, I believe that fitness encompasses more than exercise. I am willing and able to help clients examine their lifestyles and suggest changes to those who desire help with issues such as nutrition, flexibility etc. Experience has shown that addressing these areas can assist clients in achieving their goals.

๐ŸŠ Whimsical Orange Cheesecake ๐Ÿฐโœจ
Indulge in the refreshing flavors of our Whimsical Orange Cheesecake! Perfectly creamy with a zesty twist.

Ingredients:

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons orange zest
Orange food coloring (optional)
1 orange slice (for garnish)
Directions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat the oven to 325ยฐF (160ยฐC).
Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
Prepare the Crust:

In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
Make the Cheesecake Batter:

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour until just combined.
Divide and Flavor the Batter:

Divide the batter into two portions.
To one portion, add the orange juice, orange zest, and orange food coloring (if using). Mix until well combined.
Create the Swirl:

Alternately spoon the plain and orange batter into the prepared crust, creating a swirled pattern.
Use a knife to gently swirl the batters together to create a marbled effect.
Bake:

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
Cool and Chill:

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Garnish and Serve:

Garnish with an orange slice before serving.

Weโ€™re going into the evening hours of this Wonderful Wednesday. I hope all of our Hump/Pump day Work Ur Lady Lumps/Muscles today and everyday have been and continue to be amazingly awesome! Did you work on your Humps/Glutes today? Weโ€™re working on our Humps/Glutes at least twice per/week on the regular and at least three times per/week if weโ€™re getting ready for any type of sporting event. Because we know our Humps/Glutes are the largest muscle mass in our bodies. They are also the laziest muscle mass in our bodies. If you didnโ€™t work your Humps/Glutes this Hump/Pump day Work Ur Lady Lumps/Muscles what muscle groups did you work on or are you working on now or are you going to be working on later?
I did fasted cardio second thing this morning after I had my drank my 16 ozs of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice in it as soon as I woke up. After I trained my clients this morning I came back to The Garage Personal Training Studio In Home in Ashburn Va and did a Legs(Quads/Hamstrings/Glutes) workout. Using my knowledge experience and expertise as one of Total Fitness Look Personal Trainers I gave myself a very challenging safe workout. After my workout I had my post workout drinks. Within thirty minutes of drinking my post workout drinks I had my post workout meal!
After we have done our workouts and finished our necessities itโ€™s time to get a little Wacky Wicked Wild! But only when itโ€™s appropriate to get a little Wacky Wicked Wild! Weโ€™re taking care of our Wellness! We can be a little Whimsical! I hope we all are having a very Wonderful day and lives possible!

I started my day today with 16 ozs of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice in it as soon as I woke up. Then I went down to The Garage Personal Training Studio In Home in Ashburn Va and did my 26 minutes of fasted cardio. After my cardio I had my first Tasty Clean Healthy meal of my six meals.
I hope we all are starting our days with at least 8 ozs of water as soon as we wake up. Then weโ€™re having our first Tasty Clean Health meal of 4 to 6 meals. Unless weโ€™re doing Intermittent fasting or fasted workouts or fasted cardio sessions. Then weโ€™re having our first Tasty Clean Healthy meal at 10am or once we have finished our fasted workouts or fasted cardio sessions.
To stay fueled and hydrated weโ€™re eating another Tasty Clean Healthy meal every 4, 3.5, 3, 2.5 or 2 hours! Along with drinking our correct amount of water during the course of our day! This is how weโ€™re going to stay both fueled and hydrated all day long.
These are two of the key components to our reaching our Transformation goals. Along with doing very challenging workouts, cardio, practicing our recovery methods and getting the proper amount of sleep! This is how weโ€™re going to reach our Transformation goals.
Are you working Ur TaTaโ€™s(Chest&Back) today? If not what muscle groups are you working on? I did a Chest & Back workout at Team Eckenrode after I finished training my morning clients. After my workout I had my post workout drinks and within thirty minutes of drinking my post workout drinks I had my post workout meal! Which was my fourth Tasty Clean Healthy meal of my day. That leaves me two more meals. By using my knowledge experience and expertise
as one of Total Fitness Look Personal Trainers Iโ€™m giving myself a very challenging safe workout!
I did some exercises twice for Twofer Tuesday. What are you doing for Twofer Tuesday? I hope we all are having the most Terrific day and lives we can!

Thank you to those of you that answered the question from yesterday. Thereโ€™s still time to answer the question. The question didnโ€™t represent only one day! Itโ€™s an everyday question! Depending how you answered the question will say a lot about if weโ€™re living a Magical Life and/or not so Magical of a Life!
Our lives can seem Magical in many ways. Going over the top for ourselves and others will make our lives seem to be very Magical! The more weโ€™re taking care of ourselves Mentally Physically Spiritually & Emotionally the easier living life will be. Which will give us a Magical feeling! Once we are willing to be the same way towards others weโ€™re definitely living a very Magical life! I hope we all are working towards this.
On this Movement Move Monday what type of Movement are we doing? Did you Move today? Are you planning to Move around or in the gym or outside today? When we Move and/or in motion it is very healthy for our total wellbeing. Being sedentary can be detrimental to our wellbeing. The human body is made to Move not sit still for long periods of time.

Then I started training clients. Once I returned from training clients I did a Functional Training & Glutes workout! Which gave me even more Movement. I did my fasted cardio and my functional training & glutes workout in The Garage Personal Training Studio In Home in Ashburn Va! After my workout I had my post workout drinks. Within thirty minutes of drinking my post workout drinks I had my post workout meal. Iโ€™m using my knowledge experience and expertise as one of Total Fitness Look Personal Trainers to ensure that I get a very challenging safe workout. What muscle groups are you working on today?
It takes a very Strong Positive Optimistic Mindset to stay consistent dedicated and focused to doing challenging workouts. Having this type of Mindset will help us to achieve almost anything. This type of Mindset can be Motivational not only to ourselves but to others around us. As others around us can be Motivational to us. Letโ€™s all have the most Magnificent and Marvelous lives we possibly can!

Glazed Black Cod with Asian Greens

Ingredients:

4 black cod fillets (6 ounces each)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
2 tablespoons sake
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bunch bok choy, trimmed and halved lengthwise
4 scallions, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

In a small saucepan, combine the soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and grated ginger. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
Place the black cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the soy mixture over the fish. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Heat the vegetable oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
Sear the fish fillets in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the fish is baking, steam or blanch the bok choy and scallions until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Arrange the bok choy and scallions on a serving platter. Place the black cod fillets on top and drizzle with the remaining soy mixture.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes

First African-American Players In The NFL

Four black pro-ball players pushed against that barrier: Washington, Strode, Willis and Motley. All of them signed NFL contracts in 1946.

The second player in 1946 was Woody Strode.

A professional football player and actor, Woody Strode was born on July 28 (some sources say July 25), 1914, in Los Angeles, California. Along with his friend and teammate Kenny Washington, Strode integrated the National Football League in 1946. In the 1950s, Strode's focus switched to acting; he went on to work with John Wayne, John Ford, Kirk Douglas and other Hollywood luminaries. Strode died on December 31, 1994.

Woodrow Wilson Woolwine Strode was born on July 28 (some sources say July 25), 1914, in Los Angeles, California. His father, a bricklayer, had Creek, Blackfoot and African-American heritage; his mother was part Cherokee, and also the daughter of a former slave.

Woody Strode attended Jefferson High School, where he was more focused on sports than on studying. In 1936โ€”after improving his academic recordโ€”he landed a football scholarship for the University of California, Los Angeles. Strode became a star at UCLA, joining forces with Kenny Washington and Jackie Robinson on the school's successful football team. He also developed into a noted decathlete.

In 1940, Strode left UCLA. That same year, he married Hawaiian princess Luukialuana "Luana" Kalaeloa. Strode began playing football for the Hollywood Bears, then put his career on hold to join the Army Air Corps during World War II. Part of his military service included playing football.

I started my day with 10 ozs of water with lemon juice squeezed into it as soon as I woke up. Then I went down to The Garage Personal Training Studio In Home in Ashburn Va and I did a fasted cardio session earlier this morning! After my cardio session I ate my first meal of my day! I went to the Community Churchโ€™s service at 9:30am! How have you started your day? After church Iโ€™m going to do a Shoulders & Arms workout! Using my knowledge and under the guidance of Total Fitness Look Personal Trainers to ensure I give myself a very challenging safe workout! Iโ€™ll have my post workout drinks after my workout and within thirty minutes Iโ€™ll have my post workout meal!
We shouldnโ€™t be Sedentary! Get up and move and/or go out and move! What Muscle group have you trained or are you training now or going to train? Remember a great man said we should do Three things EVERYDAY LAUGH at ourselves and out of JOY - THINK Meditation - CRY from our EMOTIONS they should bring us to tears! Iโ€™ve done these today already! Follow your Passion! Are you being TRUE to YOURSELF? Your True Self? What are your goals! Are you just working out aimlessly? We need to have a purpose! Either to lose unhealthy body fat and/or lose unhealthy body fat & gain lean muscle and/or gain lean muscle! This is how we win once we have a goal! Weโ€™re a Team! Letโ€™s get this done together! Some of us are in Hypertrophy Phase and some of us are in Fat Loss & Hypertrophy! Let's stay consistent and dedicated to ourselves! Let's get our workouts & meal prep done! I hope you all are truly happy!Remember today nor tomorrow is Promised to any of us! So Tell and Show those people close to us how much they mean to us! It's time to Feed our Minds Bodies Souls and Spirits! Feed our Minds with positive thoughts and Energy! Feed our Bodies with Clean Healthy Tasty Foods and Water! Also by WORKING OUT! Feed our Souls and Spirits with Positive Optimistic Knowledge!

I hope we all are being very Sagacious with these very hot days. On days like these we really have to make sure that we are drinking our correct amount of water each and every day! We donโ€™t want to become dehydrated in the least bit. Thatโ€™s why weโ€™re starting our days with 8 to 16 ozs of water as soon as we wake up! We can add freshly squeezed lemon juice to our water or freshly squeezed lemon juice with ginger or cucumber water or coconut water. During the course of our day weโ€™re drinking water periodically. We are also finishing our days with 8 to 16 ozs of water. This is how weโ€™re staying hydrated during our days! This is how we are being Sagacious! We also are being Sagacious by staying consistent dedicated and focused on our workouts nutrition cardio!
When we are struggling or stuck or just want professional help we should reach out to those with more Sage in the areas of need. Someone like myself in the Personal Training & Nutrition Field! Iโ€™ll design a personalized training program for you according to your needs wants and desires! Iโ€™ll also design a personalized nutrition plan for you according to the goals wants needs and desires you are trying to obtain! The results you will get from following the personalized program will be more than Satisfying to you! You will become more Salient during the process of your first journey!
What muscle groups are you working on today? I did a fasted cardio session first thing this morning! After training my morning clients I did a strength & conditioning legs(quads/hamstrings/glutes) workout! During my workout I drank water to help me to stay hydrated. I did my workout at The Garage Personal Training Studio In Home in Ashburn Va! After the workout I drank my post workout drinks. Within thirty minutes of drinking my post workout drinks I ate my post workout meal! By using my knowledge experienced and expertise as one of Total Fitness Look Personal Trainers I gave myself a very challenging safe workout!
I hope we all are having the most Sensational and Spectacular day days and lives!

Delicious Oven-Baked Salmon with Lemon Butter Cream

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon slices for garnish
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
While the salmon is baking, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sautรฉ for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Stir in the fresh dill and parsley.
Remove the salmon from the oven and spoon the lemon butter cream sauce over the top.
Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
