70 years young. 💪
Knee arthritis. Varicose veins. Previous ankle injury. Shoulder muscle tear.
Most people would look at that list and focus on limitations.
We focus on possibilities.
Today, she learned a new movement - landmine clean Alex Kanellis using the The Spann Bar | Landmine Bar by Collis Spann | Strength Coach
Instead of forcing deep knee bends, jumps, or positions that might aggravate her joints, I adjusted the movement to match her body. She generated power through controlled rotation, quick leg switches, and step-backs while keeping her knees and shoulders pain-free.
The goal isn’t to make everyone move the same way.
The goal is to help each person move better, build strength, improve confidence, and stay active for life.
Pain-free movement doesn’t mean avoiding challenge. It means finding the right challenge for the individual in front of you.
At 70 years old, she’s still learning new skills, building power, and proving that age is not the barrier, lack of movement is.
Movement is medicine. Strength has no age limit. ❤️
