A few of our future Bulldogs reached the podium at the Mason Dixon Wrestling League Championships this past weekend. 8th grader Dane Gordon is your 14u 165 lb. Champion. 4th grader Colton Fisher finished 5th at 10u 56 lbs. Great job, guys! The future continues to look bright for Stone Bridge Wrestling.
We had several current and future Bulldogs compete at VAWA States this past weekend in Doswell, VA. We are proud of everyone putting in the work to get better in the offseason. The future is looking bright for Stone Bridge Wrestling.

Your Bulldogs raised the bar again, with a 6th place team finish at states, today. A tremendous end to a stellar season.
Congrats again to all of our wrestlers who competed at states this year, and to those that got their hand raised. We had 9 wrestlers win matches at this tournament, which is another team first.

Our boys had a heck of first day at States. We’re starting Day 2 with five wrestlers guaranteed a spot on the podium; Moose and Daniel in Consi Semis, and Nic, Will and Jon in semis.
Semis start at 9:30 and Consi-Semis start at 11:30.

Our varsity team went 1-1 tonight with a victory over Riverside and loss to Independence. All the while, our JV squad showed what they were made of at their final jamboree of the season.

The Bulldogs battled some fierce competition at the annual Hub Cup Invitational Tournament in Hagerstown, MD this weekend, placing 9th out of 19 teams. Congrats to everyone that stepped on the mat.

-Stone Bridge Takes Two of Three at Quad Meet-
The Stone Bridge wrestling team won two of its three duals Tuesday night at a quad meet, beating Yorktown 48-28 and Hayfield 57-24 before falling to host Fairfax 30-42. The Bulldogs moved to 5-1 in duals this season.
