Another race weekend in the books! 🏁

The Hampton Cup Regatta didn’t quite go according to plan on Saturday, with storms rolling through and keeping us off the water for the day. That meant a packed Sunday, but we were able to get all of the weekend’s heats in and make the most of the racing we had.

After a full day of hard-fought racing, we came away with a 4th place overall finish for the weekend.

Now it’s time to unload, regroup, and turn right back around. Mays Landing, NJ is up next, and we’re ready for another weekend of racing! 🏁

Welcome to the official page of JS-721 Go’n Skiff’n Crazy, a powerboat racing team based in Arnold, Maryland competing with the American Power Boat Association (APBA).

This family is absolutely Skiff’n crazy, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. If only you could hear the love through all of the trash talking that goes on inside that box trailer before and after heat races.

We spend countless hours every summer traveling hundreds and hundreds of miles together. Whether we’re headed to the Midwest, down south, up north, or wherever racing takes us, one thing that never changes is that we know our family is going to be there.

Once we hit the racecourse, though, all bets are off. We’re competitors, and every one of us is chasing the same goal at the end of the year. But when we come back to the pits, it doesn’t matter whose boat it is. If somebody is broken, everybody is working. We will do whatever it takes to make sure every boat in this family gets back on that racecourse.

That’s probably what makes this group so special. We can talk all the trash in the world, race each other as hard as anybody, and still be the first ones there when someone needs a hand. At the end of the day, it’s family, and we wouldn’t want to spend our summers doing this with anybody else.

Home from our hometown race in Cambridge, MD, and as always, it did not disappoint!

We had some hard-fought battles over two days of racing, but when it was all said and done, we managed to come away FIRST overall for the weekend! 🏁

Cambridge is always one of our favorite stops on the schedule. There’s nothing quite like racing this close to home and getting to do it in front of so many of our friends and family.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to cheer us on and continue to support our team.

It was definitely a fun weekend, and even better when you get to head home with the win. 🏆
