The Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks are North Texas’ premier adult adaptive basketball organization, dedicated to empowering athletes through competition, community, and grit.

🏆 A Wheelchair Basketball Dynasty 🏆
The Mavericks aren’t just playing the game; they’re dominating it. Holding an unprecedented 19 National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) National Championship titles, and winning two in the last three seasons — a dynasty and culture of excellence from the court to the community.

Our primary focus is to promote the sport among the disabled community and beyond. Since the early 1980s, we are the winningest team in NWBA Adult D1 history. The club prides itself on passion, work ethic, professionalism, and class. Every player, past and present, proudly represents “D-Town” and all it encompasses so we must continue to carry on that legacy.

We, as the Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks organization, promise to continue to perform at the highest level, conduct ourselves with class and professionalism, promote the sport of wheelchair basketball, and most importantly keep doing what we love. Bringing intense competition and indelible talent, we are here to honor and display the greatest performances of wheelchair basketball in the United States and beyond.

THE CHAMPS ARE HERE. 🏆

West Monroe, LA — The Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks are once again Adult D1 National Champions. Obtaining the 1 seed going into the tournament, we fought our way to the final game in seek of our 19th title and our second in three years.

The game itself was one for the books. Starting out on top in the first quarter and then WASA bringing it to a tie game at halftime. But after halftime, we stayed up and kept the pressure until the end.

This offseason we added more experienced talent and created an untouchable chemistry that was on display through the entire season. For the veterans on the team, this championships game was a revenge match.

Being a Dallas Wheelchair Maverick is a privilege and honor that we don’t take lightly. We’re a wheelchair basketball powerhouse that takes pride in delivering top athletes and outstanding performances.

To our fans. There’s no way to describe the incredible amount of support and love we receive. Having a huge crowd felt like we were playing at home. Seeing the blue and white, hearing the cheers makes all the difference to us. Thank you for a fantastic 2025-26 season, without you there’s no DTOWN.

A special shoutout to the people of West Monroe — the hospitality was off the charts and we’re so grateful to have such amazing people take care of us. Wherever we went, we were treated with respect and kindness.

Thank you and for hosting this year! We appreciate all the hard work put in to make this all happen.
