Striving 2 Success
I have always been passionate about sports and the entire aspect of sports, but how did I get into sports is the question you’re wondering? Well, here’s my story.
I was born in Houston, Texas in June of 93′, I was raised most of my life In Arlington, Texas. I was raised in a family of sports, my father used to play soccer, my brother played football and baseball, and my oldest well let's just say he loves music, so I was introduced to sports at a young age and my passion for sports began building. As a child, I was very stubborn and always causing trouble but in school, I was shy and conservative until I got introduced to sports and that’s when my life started to change.
I played football during my junior high year and fell in love with it, but I always had an itch for baseball and that’s when high school came around and I decided to play just that. I ended up having a good career by the time my senior year was over then came decision time, after high school what to do with my life? I either go to college and pursue my dream to become a baseball player or join the United States Army and serve my country, I went into the Army where I loved it and served about 4 years being an Infantryman, but honestly during the end of my time there all I can think of was working with sports not being a player, but working alongside it.
After I left the service, I was in and out of jobs trying to find my groove and one day I decided to look up sports and the sports marketing and media bachelors program at Full Sail University showed up. Since then I have been enjoying school learning the ways to become a successful marketer in the sports world, not only am I going to be a marketer, but I am going to be working with my passion in sports. You see, a lot of people have different ways to express themselves and for me is sports, I now train Jiu-Jitsu at Waugh Jiu-Jitsu and honestly, I couldn’t have picked a better place to train at. I am still involved in sports one way or another, but I am also chasing my dream to work for my favorite football team the Atlanta Falcons.
