Hello PPLers--
League notes for the week:
- Arlington is accelerating their lane replacement schedule, so for the next couple of weeks some pairs will be doubling up on matches. We'll start at 39-40 and add double-ups from there as needed. When you have four on a pair, be sure that your opponent is on the opposite lane, preferably in the same top or bottom spot as you.
- Congratulations to Frankie for the PPL's first 300 game of the season, in Thursday's game 4 after starting the night with a 279. Frankie will enjoy this achievement because he is no stranger to the time-release stench of early-season success in the PPL.
- Thank you to pre-bowlers for communications about pre-bowls, and for rolling on two pairs across the 5 games. Remember to roll the first three games on one pair, and then finish your last two on a new pair, just as you do live for the last two.
- Hooray for me, punching out in the 10th to grab the game against Phil and take the weekly Ultimate prize by half a win.
- With another solid week, Ethan slides into the lead spot in both the Main and Ultimate standings. Both tables are still tightly bunched.
- The attached week 3 lane assignments have us on 23-40, based on what we estimate now. Final assignments will be sent by Wednesday night.
- If lanes 7 through 22 (at least) are ready on or before June 5th, we would move to the new ones and double up until 23-30 are ready. So, this may be the last week that we roll on the old lanes. Farewell or good riddance?
Good rolling!
